  1. that place has the most vert in the US. A heard the tram ride alone is worth the trip. Any pics from the top? [edit] ah ok, you posted them while i posted my message
  2. I'd just love to have that vertical. nice pics!
  3. hmm....greg (thinksnow) will be there in february too...hes going during valentines day/week...are you going after that?

    twigs

whew, I thought i was the only one.
  5. I don't think he was banned from the mountain? He was at least from the message board DaveK would definatly NOT want to see Ski999 there, he'd have a cow. Well, he'd have his second cow.

    Sunday

i always carry PLENTY of stickers on me (20 stix right now) so if you need new ones, just ask...greg always has alot too.
  7. It may be the best run at CB, but saying it's the best run in the poconos is a little, wait, VERY farfetched. Blue's Paradise is MUCH longer then nile, has those walls that you speak of, and is very wide. However, ski999 claims his white lightning is the steepest trail in the poconos. I think something along the lines of Switchback at Blue, or some of the blacks at Elk.

    Sunday

as long as the rents will pay for the ticket, i'll be there, don't want to waste my money on that mountain mm, Nastar, i'll kill you.
  9. yea, at sib's mountain, they scan your pass i assume, but i'd love to see something embeded in the pass, hell, i wouldn't mind having a little thing like Speedpass wand in my pocket or something, but at sib's mountain, they have a vert contest because all their season passholders are scanned. it's cool.
  10. you never stop, do you?
  11. Nice ski patrol jacket That's your daughter right? And not some teenage girl you found on the slopes?
  12. yea I never can understand why they don't run lifts. Especially over razors edge, and at the top of paradise, blue's quad is severly exposed to very high winds, but yet, it never closes. it was blowing so hard on sunday, and well, it was still running.
  13. and i suppose you want a ride too?
  14. hah, if only we did own a jet. Sugarbush is a bit far....
  15. tricky! thanks for clearing that up
  16. then how comes i often see bode racing DH on his Atomic GS skis (the '05 atomics),? They seem to be barely above his eyes (probably low 180's)....Then i see other people racing on last year's all red atomic DH skis, which are well above the head. Are these USSA races, or worldcup that i see on OLN....because body defaintly isn't on 205's in most DH's
  17. hah, well i wish her good luck! And she needs to do a downhill, just to say she did it.
  18. when does she do a downhill at the birds of prey?
  19. uh what the hell? Ask greg to type the text message i sent him....I asked him to ask Ski999 the status of the race, if it would still be on. And it's not my excuss, it's blues. I was there this morning, but there was no race.
  20. yea, that's what i thought, but ASRA's email said "Blue says that they can run the event regardless of the snowfall, assuming that it stops before morning. So- unless there is a cancellation message on the ASRA Web site, the race will be on." But, when i skiied this morning, there was WAY too much loose snow to run a race, they need some serious water injection.
  21. I'm having the worst luck. I wanted to race today, but of course, it snowed too much, and they had to cancel the race. Starting to really aggrevate me.
  22. btw, i'm not a new ripper i'm gunna have to say Ski999's daughter
  23. eh, it eliminates the chance of the lock getting cut, and of losing your skis at all. I've never had a line, i just wish more mountains would do it.
  24. all that needs to be said
  25. you're crazy ski999.... think she'll be better then your oldest?
