  1. Usually DaveyJ does the interviews, cause hes more of a people person ...but nonetheless, hopefully they're gettin some snow
  2. unless you are being sarcastic, i don't understand why? It's getting cooler as we speak, that'll be snow by the time it hits ski resorts around here
  3. look at whats comming
  4. Justo, the contrast is bad, but i'm pretty sure it looks like you (the goggles, light pants, green jacket).. from Blue's POD page... http://www.skibluemt.com/POD/index_html
  5. it was raining, though it's just misting now
  6. good work
  7. nice....whos the culprit?
  8. well both their bump runs are under the lifts, though the one in the base area is a good "learn to ski the bumps" trail, even though its sorta tight under there, bumps aren't that narly, though the ones on tunkhannock are pretty big sometimes
  9. Elk is amazing w/ some freshies, that may make it worth the trip on sunday, if we don't get any snow down here

    Snowboard boots

I can see the Westgate Mall if I stood on the roof of my house but yea, that would be a good place to try...If I have some time today, I'll stop by and see what they have
  11. never night skiied at elk, would never want to, there are only a few lighted trails anyway. The mountain is pretty expansive, there are trails i still haven't skiied there. The amount of diamonds is amazing, and the feeling that you get when you're skiing there, its soo much differnet then skiing at blue mtn or anywhere else. It feels like the trees overhang all the trails, like the trails are there, they werent cut...i dunno, its a great place
  12. frankly i LOVE the fact that they don't have lights! It means less people ski on the snow each day, which preserves snow quality. and the location? couldn't be better, its nowhere near anything! Elk is a great mtn, that will make you feel like you're skiing in vermont they do, however, seem to have limited snowmaking power
  13. elk is amazing. plain amazing. But they only have two diamonds open, and they aren't even the best diamonds (they have a lot).....But elk is a great experience, especially w/ the secluded trails, those two are wide open cruisers... i love elk
  14. exactly, they only take pics of trails that have good cover, and of trails that have freshly blown, .5 inches of snow
  15. i was there on sunday, there was only really a bare spot on Lazy Mile....otherwise pretty good coverage. Your best bet for maximum coverage are Challenge, Razors Edge, Main street, and midway, they have the most snow, go figure, they're the best diamonds/double diamonds at blue
  16. NEVER USE THE word, its bad luck!
  17. if i had to see that. You certaintly won't be seeing me in speed suit.

  23. i know a few oral surgeons, they both work about 1 day a week, golf the rest. Both make almost a million a year, doesn't seem to be that bad of a profession, after all, they're just dentists.

this week is going to be bad. How can this be happening. The mountains were on such a roll, but then it has to stop, cause of this weather.
