nice! thanks for the pics!

Blue has only a few trails listed, and Blue is the king of snowmaking in the poconos (they actually have the most advanced snowmaking, btw). Wait until they get KEY trails covered, so they know they can open, and then they'll expand. I'm sure what you see now isn't all what they'll have open.

http://www.skibluemt.com/POD/index_html woot woot nice pics! However, doesn't look as if the quad will be open the first day, as it was open last year. But it is skiing, and at least main street will be open from their conditions page: Snowmaking: Yes, Vista, Easyout, Midway, All of Main St., Explorer, School Hill

Congrats little dude! You make us all proud. We'll be sponsoring you soon, you can wear all PASR stuff. but I will mention that he came in 89 out of 96, which just shows how GOOD the compeition is, considering that 89/96, is equivilent to a 16th place at the race Greg, I and Ski999 watched skidude ski in. Just a pic to remind Greg about that day when he messed his arm up, we got pulled over for speeding in paradise, and I mowed a girl over. Skidude did decent in the race.

: that has to be the best deal in the poconos. Sunday night for $18.....$18, that is unheard of nowadays
-
btw, i just bought a pair of these things
-
hey, please, no prostitution solicitation here!
-
however, compare Blue to CB, and it's night and day. CB REALLY doesn't know how to build jumps, period.

Razors Edge would not be a good terrain park. Paradise would be pefect! Lazy mile would be decent, but a nice wide trail is perfered, like Paradise. They need to add another trail, like I said, between Razor's and Paradise, and make that a terrain park. Nice wide straight trail with a gentle/medium pitch would be perfect.

yea, a few members of the board have them. Sibhusky skied 1.5 million verticle feet last year, but shes out west. Skimom had over 1 million mostly skiing here in PA. I was going to buy one, but decided against it. But I would like to see how many verticle feet i ski.

While Sidewinder may not be the best trail for a park, they don't exactly have alot of good trails that they good give up for a park. They need to build a trail inbetween paradise and razors, a nice straight long one, and move the park there.
-
Get ready for most mountains to crank them up tomorrow night. WOO!
-
greek peak is right by Cornell, which isn't exactly on the border of PA/NY.

Congrats on the purchase! you'll love them!

When buying atomics though, the higher end (SX, GS, SL, etc) require atomic bindings, which, imo, are great. You can find some really good deals on ebay.
-
If you're looking at the SX:7's, the GS:9's are a step up. If you're an aggresive skier, and ski anything PA can throw at you, definatly go with the GS:9's, or the SX:9's. The 7's are more of an intermediate ski, and the SX or GS 9's will give you a bit more performance. Atomics are great skis, and you won't be dissapointed. Pick up a pair of 170cm GS:9's from last year, and you'll fall in love. The bindings that come on atomics (and you can only use atomic bindings, the GS:9's usually have the Race412, you an slide the whole binding assembly on the fly forward and backward a little over an inch to distrube your weight differently, and it makes the ski ski totally different, its amazing). Good luck.

Skis are all about personal preference, you should always demo skis before hand. I on the other hand, did not, but guess what? I absoloutly love my skis. From recommondations by skidude and Ski999, and from Ski Magezine, i bought my skis, and they're just amazing. They are some of the best PA skis in my mind.
