  1. from what you seemed like online, i really wasn't lookin forward to meeting you / skiing with you, but we had a blast that one night w/ you, me, greg and nick, tryin to throw his boxers in the tree. That had to be one of the top 10 skiing moments of my life. There are several places open in NY/VT, only a matter of time till places in PA open.
  2. i remember seeing almost all of that stuff last year, but they have some really nice parks. They had a nice skiiercross/boardercross on the south peak, that was nice....
  3. thats Justo, from this board, lol, not an outside source. The temperatures have been trending cooler, but the daytime highs are just too high, gotta say int he 30's....
  4. they are friggen huge, is right! When I was at Okemo last year, my friend laid down some trix in the superpipe, and it just looked soooooo big. Pipes around here are nothing. But yea, a superpipe would take up most of the laurel glade terrain park.
  5. those old pictures must be cached....press F5....
  6. http://www.skicamelback.com/?nav=content_dailypics
  7. The Loft is good, Brad did an amazing job on my skis. But they're not all snowboarders, at least I know Brad isn't.
  8. yup, i remember that. Mountain operation in PA is on a day to day basis. Even when they start making snow, they still don't know when exactly they are opening, because it could suddenly warm up. But to actaully THINK that they could have a set date, is absurd! I'd LOVE for them to say they could open november 31st each year, and they could, but they can't predict that far ahead
  9. Just so ya know, Camelback widened their pipe for this year, i believe
  10. you could know 100 there, and nobody would truely know. They'll tell you what they think. But as of now, they have no way of knowing when they'll open. Because every mountain is fearing a dreaded warmup. And don't try to prove me wrong, cause it's impossible. I know we liked to get all hyped up, but PA skiing will come in due time, but we honestly don't know when, and either do they.
  11. uhh, no you won't, cause there is no set date. 3 years ago when they opened the 26th of December, you think that was set? They're at the mercy of the weather, and they have no set date. They usually know 3 days in advance
  12. nope
  13. thats beautiful!
  14. well they've opened first week in the past, so its possible, but unlikely. If a mountain, besides shawnee says otherwise, they're lying.
  15. yea, either a former eagles player, or a current one just bought this really nice house, on the BAY, for like $14 million. It is almost illegal in Stone Harbor NOT to drive a BMW. The town of Stone Harbor is great, including Springer's ice cream. And unlike in OC and AC, the tallest building in stone harbor is 3 stories high....
  16. Our beachhouse is just south of you, in beautiful Stone Harbor.
  17. im sure the guns have been tested, im just waiting for the real snowmaking to occur
  18. they've spruced it up, but yea, still lattace-type fencing....
  19. when?
  20. I do have a little against Camelback though, the fact that most of the mountain is just runout. The headwall trails are like 500 ft long, then its just flat back to the lifts. Blue and Elk have no real runout trails.
  21. i'll probably be going too Belleayre
  22. orgasmic!
  23. yea i saw that on the weather.com radar, snap a picutre!
  24. DaveyJ is a cool guy, really. We've had some fun times at Camelback. I have never met DaveK, nor do I want too after some quarrels with him over some issues. DaveK does not project a positive attitude towards me about Camelback, and if hes worried about his little messageboard being negative PR, maybe he should take a step back, and think about his actions.
