when i ski in the terrain park at CB, i NEVER hear the music, i only hear it on the lift....im focoused on my skiing

my dad always jokes around how i picked the two most expensive things(well ones a sport, golf of course ). skiing and golf. but its what i enjoy, and i do pay for a decent amount of my equitment, pretty much split down the middle between my money / my parents. skiever forever, like you said ski999 had to be UNDERprivledged as a kid. There is a certain satisfaction in paying for paying part of your stuff. I mean i couldn't afford the more expensive parts of skiing (boots, skis, and for golf my clubs) but i'll always pay for things like poles, gloves, goggles. and im pretty sure skidude does too. but is it realistic for someone without a full time job to pay for things that are $400+? he talks out of his ass, cause hes jealous of the dude. i'd like to meet this guy. i'd like him to meet the front of my car, while hes at it.

Sib is one of the few people that I know that's happy just plain old skiing every day. Actually, if you recall, I have a vert fetish that means that "waiting my turn" whether it is to race or use some engineered park feature is not high on my list. I am trying to control that "rack up the vert" urge a bit by pushing myself off piste now and again, but I still make sure I have my "day" in before I start fooling around. control the urge! don't force yourself to get the most vert, just have fun off-piste...remember, its better to be off piste, then piste off (or piste on)

well when atomic comes out with bindings that are electronic, you know its a good year....haha

or how about killing me? that was the closest call i've had on skis, besides the day w/ greg and ski999 when i mowed that girl down

i assume you have laz-e-pass (ezpass) and never think about tolls, cause i dont either, but they've really jacked them up....a midcounty-lehigh valley is well over $2 now . Tell skidude i'll give him a lift in the M5 I plan to do some weeknight NASTAR this winter, because i ski at blue on the weekends
