  1. yea, im not intot he names of the jump....i know tabletop, i can identify those. conditions towards the end of the year sucked cause it got so warm they had to slowly destry hits to keep enough snow on the trail to have SOME features....spring hit hard and fast last year
  2. Ouch, is it a general practice to wear a cup while racing? whats the equivlent of a cup, for girls?
  3. maybe...ski999's gotta convince me
  4. didnt ski start his daughter at age 2? greg how olds your nephew?
  5. yea, it was below that first hit with the rail in the middle, it was just uphill of the first turn, it gets really steep before ya hit the jump, it was pretty beastly.... i prefer things like that side "lip" after the first turn on the right side, and those mounds of snow on the corners, load up the skis turning while taking the "jump" and go flying, twas fun
  6. im headin out to mammoth or vail or alta a few times next year....i cant wait
  7. there is still alot of snow out there, lets all stay at sibhuskys house!
  8. we were just givin you a hard time those are some nics pics, and i really cant be any more "ready" for next season, i've already brought out the ski clothes again
  9. blue DOES know how to build jumps compared to camelback though. Everyone i've talked to said blues jumps were perfect. they even had one jump that most people wouldn't try, cause if you hit it with any kind of speed, you'd need a space suit parks aside, blues a better mountain if you feel like straying from the parks for a run or two
  10. what a putz
  11. hah, tell that to Thinksnow, Ski999 and I. that was a fun day between the patrol, thinksnow fracturing his arm, and me plowing over that girl... blue has a pretty good park, and i have a blue season pass, and yea, i do always have a fun time, the verticle is great, the snow is great, and even a non-freestyle guy like myself, can enjoy the parks with the features off to the sides and the rollers.
  12. I can assure you, I didn't hike up 11 miles, I'd be dodging airplanes... We started at Logan Pass, only gained about 800 to 900 feet, hiked to Granite Park Chalet, then DOWN to something called the Loop, a drop of 3028 feet. That was the section that hurt. i know ya didn't hike straight up, i was just joking. but it looked like you had to ascend alot to take some of those pics....
  13. ski999 told me about your loss last winter, that really sucks. but are you friggen nuts? those are some steep as mountains to be climbing, its not only an 11 mile hike, its 11 freakin miles straight up the mountain
  14. i've been stopped in NJ and in VT when i had my junior license, and was never questioned about that
  15. i dont think thats a law because i've driven to vermont, NJ, NC, and have been stopped several times in other states, and never had a problem when i had my junior license
  16. why can't you drive out of state if you live in PA?
  17. short stix greg, you need to step down to at LEAST 170cm atomics

  21. 164cm Atomic SL:11 and 170cm Atomic GS:9
  22. , i've never been to camelbeach, i've been asked, but i rejected. honestly, we really dont "care" about camelback, we care about skiing and snowboarding. As you can tell from this thread, the admin's of this board all have season passes to blue i don't think cb needs to improve their rails, cause they have so many already, but maybe replace the beginner ones with more advanced ones. I look at the rails blue has and its insane. I think CB needs to take some lessons from blue in how to build jumps. As a skier blues are shaped perfectly for a smooth landing and they have nice lips. Camelback has the worst jumps, especially the one at the end of laurel, its a 1 ft lip with a 25ft table top. But then again, there are 31 other trails for you to have fun on
  23. CB is a money whore. face it.

how about 170cm GS:9's for her? Yeah, I'd suggested she keep an eye out for used 9.20's in 170, which were all but being given away at the end of last season. I saw them go for $50...I have them in 180's that are my rock skis. The GS:11 is a smokin' ski. The best and fastest ski I've ever been on. In a short--for me--171, it doesn't break away from an icy arc at full speed down a diamond. I have yet to max out the ski. So a softer flexing, more forgiving GS:9, or the all-balls-out GS:11? Excellent question for her to think about. i'm offering to sell her mine
