i told a ranger one time "If thats how you boost your self-confidence, by pulling over tennagers for doing nothing, then you go right ahead and do that"......They are wanna-be police, and since they can't be police, they pretend to be the law on the mountain. I almost pummeled a ski patroler last night, i was in the singles line, and asked them if they were 3, he looked at me and didnt respond, i said louder, ARE YOU 3? he said something really softly, so i said screw you, so i went up with them, and hes like we're 4 already, with a ski patroller comming on from the singles line on the otherside....I poelitly said "thanks you asshole"....

oh did anyone see the 3 rangers below the stevenson, without their skis on just pulling hella people over. They were there for 4 lift rides.....on the bactrain, where it comes the closet to pocono raceway (not up by the pharow, but lower)....i dunno what they were doing...
-
yup....i remember that, cause the ranger had put flags down on one of the bumps where the person got injured. but there is ice that you can control on, but on some points it was that icy where if you shift weight, your falling, and i did, hard, and smacked my side really hard, that trail was sooo dangorous last night, it was past skiiable. I was about to say to a ranger "heres an idea, GROOM THE TRAIL" camelback needs a midday groom to deal with problems like this. Conditions on such a key trail were unexcuseable, and i was very unhappy.

haha, really? sorry bro. when i am in the caf i am usually looking for my gf. so i am just scanning the crowd for blonde french braids and a blue jacket, haha. so i prolly looked right past you in additoin to a number of other people. was skidude there last night? i saw a kid on the trails that kinda looked like him? yea the snow makeing situation does suck. i just want to make it clear that the message was passed along to me by an annonomous person from the mouth of the head of the snow makeing crew. so sorry guys, but this sounds like the truth. sketchy spring skiing? yes you have that one right, but remember if they close march 15th that gives them a whole maybe week of actual spring skiing temps to worry about it. after that they will be closed. skidude and skigurl are at Whiteface together (a little then some )

How about Julius Ceasor? that was soooooo bad. The only problem i have with camelback not making anymore snow, is that at this time last year, they had over 100 inches of snow down, its what? 50 inches if that? Thats gunna be some sketchy spring skiing! btw, you were 1 foot away from me in the caf, and looked right at me

yea i like pre christmas skiing at blue where every weekend everyother chair on the quad is empty.....and itll turn into that soon, i hope!
-
After what "relative" date does the attendance on weekends start decling? after presidents weekend?
-
ski, i dont think its in his nature to be aggressive, even when im freeskiing i go ballz to the wallz making aggressive short turns. On challenge on the headwalll, i make such rapid, hard aggressive moves. Maybe i shold start kicking the crap out of skidude, and stop when he starts fighting back, that might get him mroe aggressive.

good man, jibbo, that you are. I do the same thing also, even if liftlines i try to expose them with my pole and throw them away. darn rocks!
-
It doesn't look like anysnow was made Tuesday night but yeah we should get some tonight. well at least some non granular stuff will return, thats something to be happy about...cause those rocks embeded in the snow were showin up here and there at blue
-
yea, especially after it just rained. That trail can really get nasty towards the end of the day, and i expect thats how it was. And they set the first steep pretty tight. Even free skiing with it nasty, you got tossed around. Not a bad finish dude of the ski.
-
haha, dude i envy your ability to get out there and race, no question. But that trail is all to familiar to me (maybe you should ski at blue more ) i practice on that course "mentally" all the time. I even have people be pretend gates for me on the headwall. I think being comfortable on the trail helps. On sunday, that was only your 5th and 6th time on Razors? Its got alot of different pitches....

you'd be surprised what i can do, honestly get down into a powerful position:
-
i dont know where to start talking about how many things your doing wrong!
-
yea, probaly just a small amount, buy anything helps to get some natural snow back on top
-
any guesses on a closing date? I'm going with March 20
-
hmm, these moderatly warm temps this week are going to kill the snow. The snow was already soft today at blue, though i dont know how it was at camelback. Anyone go up there today? or ski at all? I'm curious to see with all these days of warm temps how the snow will be by friday....
-
this sugga keeps the crowds away...crowds were light at blue, ESEPCIALLY at the upper mtn lifts all day on sunday (bottom of main st), lines were non exsistant. Quad lines were pretty short most of the time
-
i wasn't joking but yes, Blue on sunday wasnt icy, it just had that icy/sugary snow. I call it sugga.

Nah, couldn't be. Rain is water. When it falls it would go between the snow flakes and drain off, leaving the snow on top well actually if it was man made snow, it would! Fact is, that man made snow holds up BETTER then natural snow with rain, because the shape of man made snow allows water to easilly flow between, naturally draining out, versus it puddling on top with natural snow learn something new everyday dont ya?
