I've switched from Oakley to Smith....I prefer the smiths.

I'm looking forward to it being 55F to start on Sunday morning. Pow skis are coming out.

As we were booting up the penn state bros were out for a lot beer and warned us that pretty much everything was shit except for NMDW. We skied that first run. It was great...so we kept skiing it. Fresh blown grippy snow. The only downside was the insane root rollers flying out onto Paradise and Homestretch. Again, it was better than I expected. There was a solid 1/2" on the side of Paradise...it was my first float of the season.

That was 7 years ago?! Time flies.

NMDW was the ROTD. @JFskiDan and I even managed to get through the gates on their first random opening. It was great seeing @saltyant out there enjoying @enjoralas's meat.

How did it compare to Hunter?

NMDW was pretty nice. Could put the hammer down on pretty smooth and grippy snow. The second turn was a little spicy, but another session that was significantly better than I expected driving up.

You can resurface closed terrain....I wouldn't argue with Ice Eidolon...I think he knows a thing or ten more than you when it comes to snowmaking.

Conditions today were better than expected. Main St was insanely smooth top to bottom with nobody on it! No sugar...it was firm, but you could still arc turns. Glad I’m no a bump head or else I’d be bitching on PASR. 😘
