  1. I demo'd them for a day in Aspen two years ago. I bought Hamilton Sports only remaining pair the next day for, at that time, an amazing deal. They can be had (despite being last produced 2 years ago) on random websites for ~$600 now.
  2. Extreme? They're my daily drivers...nothing extreme about them.
  3. They're '16 Kastle MX98s...184cm.
  4. I was actually putting the brakes on when the left one let go...and let go in a big way. The toughest part was skiing 1/2 of main street on one ski. Skiing was awesome this AM. Snow was so good.
  5. It looks like NM/DW is getting some love? Sidewinder was, but I assume they're re-opening it today, so they must've moved to NM/DW?
  6. One of my favorite JH edits from 2011. A good portion filmed inbounds.
  7. Why so late? I'll be there at least Tuesday AM. Probably more.
  8. Mbike is such a nice guy that he gave us a ride up in his truck to the top so we could ski while they dicked around with the 6er. We were at least a run up on people. Towards the end of our session, the quad have a good 10 minute outage where it would move an inch or two then jerk to a stop. Sidewinder was the ROTD. I would've picked Challenge but we only got one run on it before BMR closed it. Sidewinder was fun as hell. I can't wait for it to go full width.
  9. I kinda miss Toast getting pissed off when he'd pull in.
  10. He's so fucking smart he tries to make an analogy and spells brakes wrong.
  11. Andrew Whiteford killing some lines below the Sublette chair a few years ago.
  12. Sure... as long as they install a large body of water at the base of Corbetts for me to land in. will a large pile of your own shit work?
  13. mondo
  14. You don't weigh enough and you're not aggressive enough. You need to be able arc turns (and not pocono shuffle) first. Metal in skis will just make it tougher for you.
  15. 3 things...length, width, and radius. If I had to pick a ski for you, it'd be something 170-175cm long, 80-90mm width, and 15m radius without any metal. Ideas anyone?
  16. Since you're still a n00b, I'd stick with something with a smaller radius to help you learn to arc turns at slower speeds. Nothing more than 17m. I think you need a ski between what you have an Kendo's...it's a little too stiff for you I think.
  17. The dedicated VIP line was there last weekend (on the left side)? Maybe they're not putting it up on weekdays? I bet it'll be there next week.
  18. And by that measure, the country.
  19. Weather is starting to look better for the Tetons....8-12" expected today with plenty of snow in the forecast. Time to get the Hobacks open.
  20. I know I'm in the minority, but I love conditions like tonight. Super fast and solid. With sharp edges, it's extremely grippy.
  21. Where are the bare spots at Blue?!

Ski Doug's Shiros...there is 0 camber in that ski. They're amazing for whirly birds.

2 years ago or so they went to full rockered. It's very minimal, but they did. On a groomer ski...I couldn't tell you why.
