  1. I'm glad it's going to get cold.
  2. Maybe spread those 51 runs out over 2 weekends...like we do Actually, I doubt I've even skied 51 runs at Blue this year.
  3. Lower Main was firm, midway was shit, and Easy Out / Vista was great. Short session as I had to run a quick 13 before afternoon obligations. Beautiful morning to be out on the snow, especially considering it's December 2nd. See you tomorrow.
  4. It's a nice place to sit on a sunny day and enjoy a beverage. I had a few there.
  5. Aren't they Rangers?
  6. I really couldn't tell if you were serious or trolling the shit out of us half the time.
  7. So....basically Easy Out / Vista?
  8. I'll be there. Both days.
  9. Oh wait...when is the party? Long run on Saturday.
  10. Yes...from a long run.
  11. That's assuming Bear Creek is actually open on Christmas.
  12. I RSVP'd...it's a free option.
  13. Around 1:00 in is where it starts getting real deep. But, she was taking it in the face all the way to the cat track,
  14. Here's the Jess McMillan video from the Hobacks...
  15. We tend to take more pictures on groomer days...when the powder panic sets in...there's no stopping for pictures. But when it snows....it snows. This was from 2 years ago. Snowed 20"+ after being dry for awhile (4"+ the previous afternoon, 17" since the lifts closed). Doug and I arrived in the tram line around 7:20am and we knew we weren't going to be in the first tram, but easily in the 2nd. 9am came and went. Finally around 9:50am the mountain opened. We got to the top around 10:20am, and skied the best run of my life, 4100 vert from the top of the Tram to the bottom of South Hoback. It was over the head right down to the cat track. There is a great video from Jess McMillan (JH athlete) from the same day, probably a few minutes ahead of us.

    Awesome place.
  17. Boom. Today was day 800 for me since PASR started back in 2004.
  18. As a percentage of acreage? 15% seems way too high.
  19. Pretty cool shot Doug snapped of me skiing Grand first thing in the AM... on the way down to the Sublette chair on an inversion day.
  20. One of my favorite views....getting off the top of Sublette.
  21. This is what happens when you go ass over tea kettle in 23” of snow halfway down the Hobacks

    Stone grinding

    I believe it's bottom only.
  23. Going to post some of my favorite JH photos to date. Some of the best ones are from Toast / GSS. Not many taken by me. The first picture is at the top of the Cirque . The Tram and Thunder lift can be seen on the ridge top in the distance. The second picture is from the top of the Hobacks. Really not that steep, just made for a good photo. Thanks Toast! Jackson Hole experiences a ton of inversions. Frequently -10F at the base and +20F at the top of the Gondola and creates a wicked fog at the base. Both of these photos were from inversion days.

    Stone grinding

Blue does good work from what I've seen. They also have the most expensive/best equipment in the area. Stone grinds are good every 2 years or so. Its amazing how effortless your skis will turn after a grind.
  25. Mbike needs a new hoodie with the correct date on it.
