The car drove through the main street ski patrol parking lot and kept going...down shuttle. We stopped to watch Jim Daily and another patroller (who asked if this would be on PASR, your wish came true) try to help out. Eventually a groomer had to tow them out. I think the car had NJ plates, too.

Unless they can finish their snowmaking on Main Street by Tuesday night, they won't open on Wednesday. They'll want to blow as late into Wednesday AM as they can. Thursday makes the most sense.

I think you're wishcasting. On one hand they need to get open, on the other, they can't afford to stop blowing snow just so they can groom it out so they can rush opening. They have a limited window and they need to use every minute of cold weather that they can. If that means a later opening, oh well.

Last night was just a warm up. Their production really didn't matter last night. It's just going to give the next 3 days of epic snowmaking something to stick to. Monday into Tuesday should be legit.

They need to open as much terrain as possible with a 6" base. They need to risk a warm up and bank on another cold snap in the next week or two to get as much open now.

It was sarcasm. Of course we want to ski. Blue is trying their hardest. The weather last year was significantly different than this year, so nothing they can do about that.
