By the 4th run on Friday I had to start getting creative about avoid people, but the first 3 were empty.

Better than I was expecting. We did 8 runs and then called it quits. I think Toast and I can claim first ones to the bottom. Also met weedreimer

As flat as BC is, I credit practicing at BC to my improved slalom skiing. Unlike at Blue where you can get going way too fast, I feel like BC is a good pitch to be able to work on things, but still be able to attack.

Is the bridge open?

Bear Creek is worth the drive. Takes me 40-45 minutes to get there, but I have way more fun both on and off the snow [running gates] than I do at Blue. I'll be returning.

I'll be there at some point...maybe Friday?

Has anyone heard anything? Any mention of the monday night racing has disappeared from Blue's site. Bear creek it is, I guess.

Just picked up my liners to put in my boots. After 150 days the liners from my RS130s were shot, but the shell (with all the alignment and grinding work) were still in good shape, so it made sense to just get new liners with the minimal amount of sewing required. We'll see how this shell is doing after this season.

Working on it...after last years crowds at JH, I'd like to say I'm luke warm to the idea, but I love it too much there...and a new lift this year to access some great terrain! Thinking about 1 or 2 CO trips...maybe Telluride? Aspen?

Met with my bootfitter on Thursday for new liners...and just renewed my Aspen Classic Pass...season is almost here!

i try to avoid it if possible (too much drag)...when i'm only doing one set to close out the year, I'll just wear a 1.5mm long sleve top and neoprene shorts. The coldest thing was my forehead.
