I have that problem when it gets super cold at blue and I wear face protection. Sucks big time.

Things were pretty good today. But, like all other weeks with good conditions, hopefully it isn't ruined by this crap weather.

Today was pretty freakin nice. Topped off with a fun outing to Point Phillips hotel. JADIP.

tonight was really good. A little windy and cold, but with a down puffy Law and I were on the toasty side. Snow was freakin perfect though. Unlimited grip and reasonably fast. I give it 9/10. would've been 10/10 if no there was no wind.

Sorry I couldn't make it. When I switched to the ABE flight arriving at 4:20pm I thought I'd be able to make it. We didn't get in until 4:50pm, and then waited for bags, which never came. Had to file a lost baggage claim, etc. I had boots, jacket, pants, but no warm layers, and no helmet. Wasn't a good start to a race night.

Well I'm at home now...(arrived around 4:50pm)...but my bags aren't. They were tagged to MDT (Harrisburg) when I left Jackson Hole, but I ended up flying in ABE. I'm just going to drive to Harrisburg tomorrow instead of having them relocated here, the agents confidence that they'll get that right was low.

Here's hoping that my Harrisburg flight flies today. Beautiful sunny day here in Chicago! I landed yesterday in a blizzard with max 200ft visibility. 'Twas an autoland...autopilot(s) flew the plane to touchdown. Crazy when you can't see anything and then suddenly the ground is a few feet below you. Here's an idea of the visibility shortly after landing...(sorry it uploaded sideways)

All closed. Pretty much only open when there is new snow. And 3-4" doesn't do it. Coverage on the Alta chutes is pretty damn good though.

Where is the report GSS? Shorter day for us...conditions were great to start, but due to only 3-4" of snow (per JH website) the crusty stuff from the warm temps Monday/Tuesday wasn't covered up and made for very firm off trail skiing and anything smooth was tracked out by about 9:01am due to a powder feeding frenzy.

Great waste of money moving the upper lodge access road?

Skied some nice chalky bumps today...and some soft spring snow. Fuck that noise...it's going to snow tonight.
