My biggest complaint about their website are the mixed fonts. After working with enough web developers in my previous job I now notice stupid shit like that.

I'll be there. Slalom skis again

They're in Maine right now training.

For me, today was just as good as yesterday. Crowds really don't bother me on my slalom skis cause turning around them isn't really a problem. I'm pretty beat after 2 hours of SL turns. Snow is pretty perfect on Lazy though. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow.

Today was the best day of the year (and season) so far. Snow was smooth, grippy, and fast enough for my slalom skis. After 2.5 hours of constant turns, I was beat. It's so refreshing to be on a nice surface and be able to make some turns. After how shitty it was last weekend, today was a total 180. JADIP.

Just saw these pictures now. They put down a ton of snow in the past 24 hours. Curious to see how much they put down today into tomorrow.

I could tell last night that despite the heavy traffic, the night of snowmaking really turned conditions around and that after a nice groom, an AM session this morning was going to be nice. Toast said it delivered.

Love the cold weather this AM. Feels like November again!

hah...i was tempted, but forgot it was a holiday week. Combine that with warm-ish temps during the day, and I figured it would be a mess. The webcam confirmed that. I may blast up after work tomorrow though. I feel bad after skipping sunday.

The good news is that we're not worrying about open terrain, as they're already 100%. When we went with NSJay, the Hobacks opened the day before we arrived. Pretty much the worst conditions I've ever seen them in. It was manky, unconsolidated snow. With light pole pressure, you'd hit ground 3+ feet down. I'd say Saratoga Bowl has been 50/50 on our last few trips. Now...it just needs to snow while we're there...like it did this past week.

Always sad to hear. Someone fell off the 6er at Blue the other day as well (or so I hear). Despite it being a moving couch (in the word of JohnnyLaw)....but the fucking bar down! What's the harm?

As far as this season is concerned, it was decent today. The fact that it was firm meant you could get enough speed and enough grip to have fun on lazy mile. We need more terrain!

It was better than expected...but not much. Always nice to see BMT enjoying Blue.

Blue has been fantastic this year in that it's been open. As for conditions? They've been pretty lackluster, but, considering the options, I guess we can't really complain?

Bar is always down here...even if it is a moving sofa.

We need cold weather, more terrain, and better conditions.

What was the total time to drink? I love spicy food, but it took me awhile to drink the 4oz I had...

The beer selection today was next level (thanks to NMSKI and Root). The skiing on the other hand...

glad to see they'll get some snowmaking in before the 50+ degree day with rain next week....I'll be there this weekend.

sucks that the race team is now back out in force....but the first few runs were Doug's favorite color...butter. Bumps were pretty nice as well!

great to have the 6er open...and some new terrain. ROTD was Lazy -> Falls, but Paradise first thing was quite a treat. Amazing what happens when they let the snow sit a little.

Sucks that mainstreet was pretty terrible, but Lazy was fast enough to make plenty of turns. JADIP. See everyone in the lower lot (i hope) this weekend!
