  1. Downhill mtn biking. Sib's hill is kinda in the boonies I was wondering if they did alot of summer business. That was my question, thanks.
  2. Do they run downhill or something ? Interesting that they leave cars on the line.

    Boots advice

Lange is 98mm last unless they changed it recently, where alot of slippers are in the 100 range. Nordica always works with the flatter fatter feet crowd, myself included. Head had or has an adjustable last boot, 98-108 if I remember right, kind of an interesting idea.
  4. I vote leave it up, according to the link he's on borrowed time anyways and the video above is a solid 10. Quality post JS.

    Boots advice

Get whatever feels good on your feet. Feet are so weird but way too may people rocking 130 plug boots because they are hardcore and end up only skiing 15mins whereas the dude in the 90 flex slippers goes bell to bell. Not a knock on anyone just saying.
  6. Whatever you do don't go both are just terrible. You would be much better off at Deer Valley or Park City.
  7. How do you like the KONA ? I only ride a bike like a noob but it does interest me, I have a hook up on KONA's. Disclosure: All I know about my current bike is that's its black and it only has one working gear and the brakes only kind of work, particularity when my giant kid is on the back. Women for some reason they love to grow useless quantities of herbs you can buy at the store.....now if it was herbs you can't buy at the store.......
  8. There is the law and then there is the "law", VT has been herb friendly for as long as I can remember. Five mins on Church and somebody will ask if your looking. All this is, is confirmation of the situation on the ground as it has existed for 40 years there. Now they certainly did bust people for simple possession but its not like your going up to Stowe and going to see things crazy different. Additionally this isn't a money thing, VT peeps really value their identity and part of that identity is doing things differently and what they believe to be correctly relative to the rest of the nation. Burlington being Burlington there was a large occupy protest during which someone was killed. I don't think it had anything to do with the protests but regardless the police wanted to come in to investigate and this was obviously a big fucking to do with the protesters so as a ruckus is developing the mayor of Burlington goes to the protest and ya know actually talks to them. Sure enough everything is worked out and nobody gets a billy club to the face. These type of events are a testament to who they are and their willingness to put their ideas to the test, VT to it's credit generally walks the walk. I think you have the wrong quote Ride, shadows comment I'm guessing says he doesn't see the medical value in Cannabis. The scientific literature disagrees but it's certainly not a settled question.
  9. I own at least 3 or 4 pairs of ski's I didn't pay more than 50$ for, quality shit too. A pair of Goat's, B Squad 104, rc4 WC GS, etc. If you are looking for something let me know and I'll keep my ears open. Shit just go on TGR and outfit yourself on the super cheap.
  10. I don't get the elk slob job, its a decent hill but it's all straight down the fall line dipsy doodle and your back on the lift. The only one with some legit turns is Tioga to West slope which is all noob style. Blue has better trails in Switchback, Dreamweaver, the knob has even better skiing in general. Elk is just ok and its sure as hell not worth 1000$, there is no mtn in PA worth a 1000$. Buy and epic pass and use the leftover 600 bucks for gas to CO.
  11. Sickbird !! Looks so good....super jealous.
  12. Nice dude, pictures have me jonesing bad.
  13. Nice dude, I'd give at least 15% of a kidney to be riding right now.
  14. Nice dude, some precip maybe for you guys, kill it.
  15. Didn't want to intimidate anyone LOL Honestly they were a free hook up from a buddy so I didn't have a choice.
  16. Snagged a pair of Rossi WC's 155, 11m radius I believe. If you need another rider I'm in next year or somebody can borrow them if they need something proper radius.
  17. They did, about 1h 45 mins which is about 45mins too long but they are oldish and don't do outside shit generally.
  18. No that was a planned previous trip that didn't happen.
  19. Dates: April 5th- 14th Location: Telluride and A$$pen Musak: So I’ve never really posted anything about this trip before, to be straight its spring skiing and I figured it is only going to come off as douchey, but summer is long and I’ll try to keep the look how cool I am shit to a minimum. I’m not important, my sister and her bf are important in a small pond way and thus I get to mooch on a pretty great trip. Essentially this trip is theoretically a big vendor/rep deal, they bring all their shit out and the worker plebes get to test it. Before the Aspen demo portion me and my sister headed south to spend two days at Telluride. I love Telluride it’s steep and is by a landslide the most beautiful place in the lower 48. View from my hotel door (Victoria Inn, 1 block from lift 8 and cheapish) Town Colorado is so ugly Revelation Bowl in case you can’t read Palmyra Telluride is amazing if you get the chance definitely go there. It was spring skiing and closing week so no actions pics also I skied a lot alone. However we drank a lot of beer and had serious fun. The lineup, for a person as obsessed with skis as I am this is a Roman Orgy style lineup. Basically reps set tents up at the base and you get to ride all their skis for free and as long as you want. Most of the others on the trip are from FL which is awesome because they leave the interesting boards alone. I got to test these bad boys, it’s reasonable to look at them and call bullshit after all cnc’d core’s and carbon/edge tips and tails scream bullshit but I can assure you they are the real deal. They are super fucking light, they carve like a 68 waisted world cup GS ski, super quick edge to edge and they don’t give a fuck about chop or crud. Unreal hard snow performance for a ski with this much rocker, if I can pick them up proform buying a set for sure. If you see these go fucking ride them and they will blow your mind. They are the future. My parents and brother brought the snow with them, 8-12” of butter cream and even old Pocono shufflers are getting into the act. I was determined to be first up the cirque the next morning, sadly I failed as was only 4th. This was on my 4th run, overall I got 7 in, the first 5 of which were pretty much knee deep untracked. I ran into Johnny Styles on the next run and he showed me and a buddy around. My brother decided to get all Tussey Mtn on the bitch. Highlands holds a real special place in my heart so I was pretty stoked to get to share that experience with my brother who was a bowl newb. The bowl is the soul of highlands, its identity, every able bodied skier should haul their fat ass up there and do the damn thing before they die. Bros up top Entire Law Unit at the bottom That was supposed to be it but then it snowed another 10” and fuck it we always have time to ski pow. Not bad for somebody living in South Florida Then again maybe not….. Lastly you get to meet a lot of people on this trip, mostly reps from CO however I did get to chat with one particularly interesting fellow. He’s 92 now and tells Grandpa Simpson stories but he did invent the goose down jacket and still skis pretty well so he’s got that going for him. I got more pics, mostly of skis I demo’d but I think that’s enough look how big my penis is for today. Thanks for stopping by.
  20. Loaf still going strong. Nice work dude.
  21. Brilliant !
  22. Dude you fucking did it ! Welcome to the club, you've joined a rather small number of people to experience the EC BC. Stoked for you dude, Tuxs is the first, the eye opener to what's out there and how strong and capable of a person your are. Your dead on about the seeing the bowl and the feelings you get, pictures can never do the scale of these places or that feeling you get any real justice. If you ever need route info or beta on other places don't hesitate for a second, at least for me the first one sort of ignites a fire to check more places out. Plus you got the kid involved, I can't wait until I can con my kid into some damn fool expeditions.
  23. Highlands Bowl is a personal fav but gotta be asshole puckering to see that much move like that .
  24. I rode two, 10-12" storms this week, CO is going off. Maybe a TR later....
