Purple has been associated with royalty and nobility since the Phoenicians were collecting that shit from sea snails. Purple is a glorious color...now if I could only find pants.

Sno Mountain Season Prices announced! Good $200 Deal!
Johnny Law replied to KCSKI's topic in Montage Mountain
LOL who the fuck would pay 1k for Elk, it is nothing like VT unless you've never been to VT. 25k for a peach festival....Sno should do more peach festivals then because they seem to be better at that than running a snow sports hill. -
Sno Mountain Season Prices announced! Good $200 Deal!

Damn look at those prices, CO heads are laughing......650 is even more than Blue.... -
If you are skiing with any regularity you are probably not middle class. Study after study after study shows Americans almost always identify as being middle class when they are not. The problem is what is middle class on paper and what is middle class in people's minds are not the same thing. I don't really give two fucks, I make good money because people need my skills, if that makes me upper middle class or rich whatever... The hilarious thing about this is if you live in America there is 90% chance you are in the 1% globally so to someone from say China this is a bunch of rich people arguing about who is less rich.

truth The Jet stream will once again be the main factor, last year it didn't play nice at all but if it rides in a more normal position that would be fantastic.

There are parts of PA that avg 200", Eastern PA does not get alot of snow, western pa, particularly the Laurel Highlands area does. Blue Knob has a couple of legit 6" or so in most years. I don't care what kind of winter it is, right this second all I want to do is go skiing.

Its cable length not vert, if the cable length is too short you have to go out every couple of weeks and re-space chairs. Its not impossible it just means it costs more to run.

Told you...once again the Times eats their words.

I don't disagree with any of that however lets say you had an extra mil sitting around would you invest it at Sno or another PA mtn, that I don't know doesn't have its power turned off and doesn't go to sheriff's sale every 6 months.... The point is that although they may have found some flunky's to float them some cash the business just isn't sound. Can they fix that ? Maybe but their track record isn't great and lets not forget how it became Sno in the first place. -

Johnny Law replied to KCSKI's topic in Montage Mountain
What ? They got new suckers to fund a couple more years until they crap out. They owe Penn Bank 6.6 mil there is no denying that, so if they find bank X to float them additional credit you still haven't solved the underlying issue which is clearly they do not have enough revenue to pay their mortgage. Additionally unless by some miracle in which they found additional valuable assets the interest they are paying on the new credit line will be significantly higher because bank x knows they owe Penn Bank 6.6 and are using the new financing to pay them back. They are obviously more of a credit risk hence the higher reward to the bank. Good luck to Sno but they got alot of shit to figure out if they want to stay in business, avoiding a court ordered sale by securing last minute financing is not a stable business model. -
Things you like to see for the 2012/2013 ski season at Sno.

I would like to see a machine that lets you do blow off a hookers ass or maybe an air popcorn machine on every chair....if not that I guess snow on downhill slope will work just fine. -
