Have fun, find the right place to party for the right night, don't take the connecting gondy as it is stupid.

Heresy !!! That is Jimmy Cliff -
Definitly, you probably shouldn't ride with me anymore I am very dangerous. They were actually super chill about it, its a ticket for nothing. I didn't feel I was going that fast but his daughter or something did, its his job, I can't see a reason to get bent out of shape. This weekend was suprisingly good, snow was fast and easy, hopefully it gets cold again. LOL

Milly is the shit, killer cliffs and chutes Get out to hidden, some of the best slack in ut -
We got peeps with On3p's and shiro's and I'm sure some other shit so post up what you think. Don't do the I spent a mortgage payment on it so they rock everything bs, we will know your full of shit when you say a 78mm sl ski totally kills the pow man!! 195 Super 7 ----------------- 6'0 180/190lbs ----------------- 2 days at Beaver and 4 at Blue ----------------- Other skis I love = 188 Legend Pro, ARG's, 184 B-Squad, 180 RC4 WC I was late to the rocker game, to be frank there is no way 1 ski can do what the ARG/praxis pow/130 does in pow while carving like a 98mm GS ski. That said the Super 7 is pretty close to being the first ski that I can truly say can almost do it all. Pros ------- First I have heard some complaints about finish, I have to say mine were perfect. No gap at the edge fold, flat bases and a bad ass factory tune. The bases are very fast and I cut myself on the edges when they were in my car. At slow to mid speeds the ski is truly amazing, short radius, long radius, PA hard pack, chop, mank, pow 100% honest to god it does it all. There is something about throwing railroad tracks on shitty PA hard pack on a 117 waist 195 ski that just makes you cackle with delight. Its an easy ski too in alot of respects, turn initiation once you account for the waist is stupid simple. Pow performance is as you would expect pretty fucking excellent, its a giant ski with huge rockered tips, point and go. In 20 years of skiing on 100's of skis this is the closest thing I've ever been on to a true all mtn ski. Cons ----------- This I think is what separates it from other skis, even with the two sheets of titanial its too soft. The regular 7 is a noodle and the Super 7 is considerably better but still not all that stiff torsionally. Additionally this ski requires tremendous balance, my calfs hurt from trying to stay balanced which hasn't happened in a long time. Perhaps most importantly this ski has no back seat, the squads will kill you if your tailgunning and most other skis will say hey dude get your ass up. The Super 7's nothing, just the same vague feeling as when your pressing the tongues. Now throw those three things together at high speed and you can see the problem. Without the stiffness they lack stability and will throw you around a bit which is bad considering the narrow balance point, lastly add in the no backseat and they do strange things at high speed. Blue has been warm so there are random piles and humps, hit one on the uphill ski in a gs turn and the ski may step out. I haven't found a consistency to it at all, at seemingly random times it will step out which at 45mpg is a concern. This is the first ski that actually bucked me and put me down in a long long time. Its hard to be confident at speed when you aren't 100% sure its going to hold the line come hell or high water, and its not fair to compare the carving performance to the LP's but that's the bar I set for it and the super 7 is close but not quite there. I know they are coming out with a Squad 7 which will most certainly be stiffer but they tend to go too far the other way where you seriously have movements when you think this ski is trying to kill me (Squad 104). Also the Moment PB&J and DPS 112RP are from the tiny bit I've ridden them better skis, though these cost me 300 and the DPS's are 1200. Overall it is an amazing ski, truly a game changer, but it isn't a full on gs ski that kills pow and while that may not be fair that is the standard. I will say for a westerner this ski would be killer as your groomers are generally in far better shape than Blue mtn. So 8.5/10 unless your 140lbs or like slow speeds. In April I will get some more time on the DPS 122RP and I'll give you a better idea of how they compare.

The Lightning ridge stuff is shorter but with more vert, sometimes you ski the Bird and look around and go "I'm not really all that good at this sport" so you go to Powder and ride the Powder Country bus and then you say "I'm really good at this sport" LOL Sanctuary and Cobabe are flat as fuck, every time I want to go ride over there I spend 2hrs and then say fuck it I remember why I shouldn't come over here. That area gets sun long before Lighting so it can get kind of manky. Titty sprinkles is 30" with the access road closed behind you, its a hamburger helper spicy fiesta call out in this video which also has an eaglelope that spits fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CfG_-JOlhM Only Pow Mow, fucking love that place, sad I may not get there this year. -

Powder Country was first open yesterday, heard it was empty and total titty sparkles. Have fun -
That is a beautiful picture ^ I tried to like your site but it killed my browser, will try at home with a non-400 year old version of FF.

Bad ass, turns with click clacks on even a moderate down hill section are terrifying which is why the sport rocks.
-
That is a sweet deal.

I ride alot at night at Blue and honestly most of the time it is pretty good. I run 98's and 115's with very little sidecut, peeps on 87's with Metron like sidecut should have no problems. Last season I can only remember one day were it was really shitty, this year there were a few days where it was firm but most of that was a result of the weather. The absolute best time to get mach looney on Razor's is a Monday night, once 9 comes around the place is empty and alot of times the snow will be fast but edgeable. I'm retired from the park game so I know nothing about that.

Couldn't do opening bell but night was fun. Lots of noobs eating shit on the piles, wish I could have ridden a little pow but wasn't in the cards. Got the Super 7's Friday so I had to take them out. Not the right conditions but I have to say they are a suprisingly good mogul ski LOL but I am a terrible mogul skier so there was lots of room for improvement. They carve like a 78 waist sl ski. Tommorow morning should be an excellent groomer day, sucks I cannot be there.

So that's CR, Sarah, JP, Coombs, Shane, and a couple I'm forgetting....skiing is the modern day formula 1......
-
Something about this one really bothers me......RIP.........this is becoming like an annual thing, skiing saying good bye to a legand
-
Well as long as we are getting all mushy....I am entirely self taught which is clearly evident if you've ever seen me ride. I was a flippy spinny kid who raced but I didn't like racing because it was all organized and shit.....yada yada yada Many years later I got old and bored and decided to try Nastar again. Nastar may be the bottom of the barrel but its serious fun and if you aren't all about it your really only competing with yourself. No matter what level of skier you are racing will make you a better skier both on the race course and in 24" of fluff. Give it a try sometime you won't be disappointed...though you may have to buy some skinny sticks.

Do we know are they cutting a new trail ? I liked your post because I like you but the name will always remind me of that damn show my daughter watches.....you gotta find the first paw print

If it moves further south it would be colder but probably miss almost everyone, the GFS says quick hitter with mostly snow other models say slow and warm. LOL on weather models.

Be careful. 13-15% or 2" of water for 16", nothing ob would be my move not even USA bowl. Wind is light but sustained on ridges = inverted snow on shit and pockets of wind slab. People are going to die this week, I would rather not know them. -
x2 they look excellent for walrus hunts The windshield wiper on the mitten is a little bit of genius.

You want a shop in PA that can use Quiver Killers ? Hmmm nobody is going to know about them outright but I would bet Rich Rieber Pro Sports can do it. He is the only guy in PA I trust to mount and I've given him some really weird shit over the years. 10 year old Diamir II's with no documentation or hardware and he did a perfect job. Alot of weird non-jig mounts too that were again perfect. As an aside his repair work is top notch, ripped a 12" section of base right up against the edge and his base weld has held for 2 1/2 seasons. Dude runs a small shop on 61 and is good people. If you need a rush he can do it while you wait.

Sorry that came out kind of debbie downer, fuck dude all my skiing has been WROD, I'd be down for 3" of 20% at this point. I meant more FYI shit is coming down so prepare for fuckups on 210 when Sup goes and maybe a couple of hours on interlodge. The couple of times Cliff Lodge has gotten hit its been shit like this. Anything that has been ridden with some kind of consistency will be fine but when PCSP is hitting scotties and a single hand and it is running 100ft wide, 1ft deep Utah has become CO. I would be a little more careful inbounds because this will be a tricky pack, isolated spots of hardened slab with new wet snow all sitting on a shit bed of facets will make it difficult for a single bomb to get it to pull out. I think my age has made me soft LOL -
Not advocating but it certainly worked BC is just like Blue the clientele is just too stupid for some things....maybe a pit with bears.
