It only gets boring if its the same old thing, new mounts and interspersing it with traditional video is where its at.

Blue's operating costs per acre are probably much higher than say Jackson or Aspen. Blowing snow is retarded expensive and Blue actually has to make all its money off skiing too as I believe they have no real estate schemes or hotels and such. 700$ is a alot of money but all that electricity and water don't come cheap.

We can see the pattern change now which is awesome...for some reason I got a feeling this will be a relatively short winter but with tons of snowfall.

Got a gopro and love it, tired of waiting for the backpack kits though. Would love even a little screen to see what its actually recording. The helmet cams are great because you can come up with all these crazy rigs for new angles.

For the first time bring some candy or whatever treat they really like in your pockets, if they are really young like around 2 you sometimes need to motivate them to actually get to the point were you can go downhill. Second be careful on the lifts, mad people like to leash their kid up on the hill and then forget that there is lots of room for them to go under the bar on the lifts. Dude I know has a carabiner with some webbing and then locks his kid off to the lift, pretty quick and simple.

I'd ski at Bromely 1 billion times before I would got to Slokemo, Mt. Slow or Flatton.

I've never had a problem, if your smart no one will even know you are there.

Do you have a car ? Do you have a sleeping bag ? Then I have a easy way for you to save 1/3 of your budget. Unless your driving a smart car there is plenty of room and it can be pretty comfortable. The best part is you're always right at the hill. I car camped for years and it was a great way to spread money out, now I don't got to VT every weekend and have some more money.

It always seems that when it gets cold early you get a nasty January thaw, rather now than in the heart of winter.

That's incredible the way you can predict the future Seriously though your probably right but it's nice that they seem to be prepared if we luck out and it gets cold early. I believe they were delayed last year because they didn't inspect their lifts......definitely better than that.

Garmisch is the way to go normally but the Berchtesgaden is pretty fucking cool and not alot people ski there primarily because it's not Austria. Lots of cool history with the Eagle's Nest and shit like that plus the Jenner gondy and mountain top resturant are cool. Jenner is on the way to Austria ....kinda...so that might be worth checking out. Don't forget about Oberstdorf probably as good as Garmisch without some of the bullshit.

Sometimes you just get a resort stuck in your head, for years I really wanted to check out Apex. Apex was pretty cool but compared with the stuff nearby it was kinda ehh but I had to go there because the possibilities I could see in my head were just too cool.

I want to ski on the Moon.....moon surface = diamond dust like powder....lift ticket is fucking killer though Schweitzer is ok, alot like Wolf Creek, flat and foggy with lots of shit and sharp rocks lurking. Low crowds though, good tree skiing and decent chance of good snow. Cat skiing isn't worth the money and there is a lift that is like epic slow. I would just keep driving and go to Big/Whitefish or better yet keep driving and go to Nelson or Golden. If you do go stop at Thor's pizza.
