When you go to snowbasin make sure you use the bathrooms at the top of JP lift. Doubly so if you have to poop. Nicest bathrooms in skiing in UT, maybe anywhere.

I think 600 or 700 is great value. That's what like 3 days at Vail. I love Vail but if I could only ski one I'd ski 40 days here over 3 at Vail.

They are definitely selling the season pass from the mindset that cash flow in summer is less of a concern than previous years which in my mind can only come as a result of demand for tickets. I seem to recall the 2013 to 2015 time frame one time I paid 729 which was after a really good winter. More cash around less need for a discount but I do wonder if the same demand is there this time next year.

Snow is hyper fast, a little more frozen than hero snow with no sun but pretty close and as fast as snow gets. Even the diz is a good time.

I came up for a post rain session figuring empty bleachers and sure enough nobody is here. One of the few I have seen is a man fitting a plastic bag around his boot, the purpose of which eludes me. Waterproofing his boot ? Just one ? Does he keep his lunch in there ?

If you eat enough of it it's very filling and the mixture of textures and flavors I really like but strawberry sake margaritas make everything taste supersonic.

Sadly I'm titty free and eat a fuck ton of sushi. It would save me alot of time and effort. 99.9% of any fish be it sushi or the shit eaters tilapia are frozen very quickly after being caught. I always eat sushi at least once on a ski trip but I would say don't eat it the night before you go to Silverton. Salty any of those are good choice besides the kendo/mantra but check out whatever you like.

The scariest run in CO is coming out Vail village and having to ride born free lift or whatever on a pow day.

Try to avoid the main feeder lift when everyone is headed out and up. Alta, PC, DV all have one main lift, Sunshine at Alta or Collins if it snows, Silver Lake at DV and you know PC now. When it's busy you'll tend to notice everyone is pretty much going the same ways so go the other way. It's like Vail you have to ski back to front because all the herbs are going the other way but it's raining here so enjoy man I would much rather be at PC.

Besides the sixer being busted for a hot minute and having to ride the dirty double like a peasant today was super perfect. The last couple days have been super perfect soft sun baked mashed but today might have been the best so far. Interesting to see what happens after the rain but more interesting is when the crowds break. Normally maybe a week and it should be empty but who knows.

I got up later than I thought I would, good night out and not as busy but snow was firmer than I thought. Still good uneven with tons of spots to get air. Might try to get up tomorrow with the rain coming.

Will be there shortly, thought about this morning but figured it would be mad brick and the slop has been excellent the last two nights. Sun feels super strong, very spring like. I must be the only person on earth but I can't stand u2, if someone made me define their sound I'd say pretentious lol lol

Alas I don't have many details to give but some kid named Mike who I saw last night too had a big ass bag from McDonald's. He was chowing down on a McChicken and handing them out to his friends before loudly asking the sizeable line if anyone wanted a McChicken. A random all the way on the other side got the first one air mailed to him. Then after a second of thought I realized I did want a McChicken and he handed me one. I asked his name and then agreed with his friend that Mike was a legend and then I got on the lift never to see him again enjoying a delicious chicken sandwich. Wherever you are Mike keep handing out McChickens ! You are a God damn American legend, a chicken sandwich Jesus !

That is the most technical skiing in existence lol with no water below you wouldn't even think about it but knowing a cold plunge awaits any error it's treacherous af ! Looooooove the hats !!!!

They shut the quad down at 730 so it only lasted 30 mins or so and then I went to ride the double. Their was a kid handing out McChickens in the sixer line which was quite tasty.

I'm riding the six with nearly no line, the after dinner crowd has peaced out and the snow is delightfully uneven.

Many moons ago you used to be able to get discount tickets at Utah ski and golf which had alot of locations. Their basin discount was big. I have no idea if they still do that.

I was keeping an eye out for you tonight, I haven't seen you all season some how.

Tonight was super good !!!! I do still wish they were open to 10 but it cleared out by 8 and no more lift lines. They did stop running the quad around 730 which is a bitch ass move that made the sixer line stupid long but the dirty double had no line. Snow was perfect soft unevenness, fast but little airs all over the place and junk snow skiing. I haven't skied many nights and forgot how fun it is when the snow is good bad. It was warm and I was super thirsty leaving so super shout out to the beer fairy who l left a most delicious beer for me ! Cough mute cough lol
