  1. You have so rippers on your hands, love getting air of the risers.
  2. I rode from 12 to 230, mixed snow, it seemed maybe they blew in spots as certain trails were super super slow snow but others were harder and faster and it wasn't sun based. Everything was super soft in the afternoon sun and you could just plow through at full speed all over the place. Even Challenge below the skeet shot was superb, full grip fast snow. Razors was super fast but the roll out snow was hyper slow so it was like deploying the drag chute and mad people ate shit. Only one bigger roller on side at the bottom right before it meets the crossover about 2/3 across. Basically the sweet spot to make the turn onto falls. It's maybe a foot high ramp, super fun but bad spot considering how the Jerry's ski there. Definitely bigger crowds today but almost no wait so a mighty fine day for sure.
  3. Sick bird and double points for with the family !
  4. He met a nice beehive hairdo lady and they went to Heber city to do some soaking
  5. It will be a swamp by May again but it is nice to look at.
  6. Big ass skeet shots of ice rink ice on challenge and main, saw a dude legit wheely his skis over the main street spot but he rode it out and it was quite impressive. Otherwise the snow was pretty good all things considered. We are definitely in the part of the season where the sun is playing a huge part. Lazy was soo soft and slow you couldn't make doodle turns but switch was rock solid and lightening fast. Sidewinder was perfect, firm and fast with smoothness where the Jerry's always fuck it up. Tomorrow should be le tits, going to let it get pretty warm and ski the early afternoon applesauce.
  7. Heading up now as I couldn't make opening with work, expecting a brick so sounds like it might be better than I think.
  8. Love the jackets ! Both of them and Whiteface is the shit
  9. When you go to snowbasin make sure you use the bathrooms at the top of JP lift. Doubly so if you have to poop. Nicest bathrooms in skiing in UT, maybe anywhere.
  10. Shorty wanna ride is still excellent skanking music. If your taking some girl you just met to the Ramada inn for festivities it's gotta be on the play list
  11. I think 600 or 700 is great value. That's what like 3 days at Vail. I love Vail but if I could only ski one I'd ski 40 days here over 3 at Vail.
  12. They are definitely selling the season pass from the mindset that cash flow in summer is less of a concern than previous years which in my mind can only come as a result of demand for tickets. I seem to recall the 2013 to 2015 time frame one time I paid 729 which was after a really good winter. More cash around less need for a discount but I do wonder if the same demand is there this time next year.
  13. Snow is hyper fast, a little more frozen than hero snow with no sun but pretty close and as fast as snow gets. Even the diz is a good time.
  14. I came up for a post rain session figuring empty bleachers and sure enough nobody is here. One of the few I have seen is a man fitting a plastic bag around his boot, the purpose of which eludes me. Waterproofing his boot ? Just one ? Does he keep his lunch in there ?
  15. If you eat enough of it it's very filling and the mixture of textures and flavors I really like but strawberry sake margaritas make everything taste supersonic.
  16. Sadly I'm titty free and eat a fuck ton of sushi. It would save me alot of time and effort. 99.9% of any fish be it sushi or the shit eaters tilapia are frozen very quickly after being caught. I always eat sushi at least once on a ski trip but I would say don't eat it the night before you go to Silverton. Salty any of those are good choice besides the kendo/mantra but check out whatever you like.
  17. The scariest run in CO is coming out Vail village and having to ride born free lift or whatever on a pow day.
  18. Try to avoid the main feeder lift when everyone is headed out and up. Alta, PC, DV all have one main lift, Sunshine at Alta or Collins if it snows, Silver Lake at DV and you know PC now. When it's busy you'll tend to notice everyone is pretty much going the same ways so go the other way. It's like Vail you have to ski back to front because all the herbs are going the other way but it's raining here so enjoy man I would much rather be at PC.
  19. No worries dude we always good and shit posting is what we do around here. Salty enjoy dude !
  20. Let's go up to daily and we'll see how you keep up
  21. Salty when are you coming back? I'll be out there the starting the 11th if your around still let's ski UT together.
  22. Besides the sixer being busted for a hot minute and having to ride the dirty double like a peasant today was super perfect. The last couple days have been super perfect soft sun baked mashed but today might have been the best so far. Interesting to see what happens after the rain but more interesting is when the crowds break. Normally maybe a week and it should be empty but who knows.
  23. I got up later than I thought I would, good night out and not as busy but snow was firmer than I thought. Still good uneven with tons of spots to get air. Might try to get up tomorrow with the rain coming.
  24. Will be there shortly, thought about this morning but figured it would be mad brick and the slop has been excellent the last two nights. Sun feels super strong, very spring like. I must be the only person on earth but I can't stand u2, if someone made me define their sound I'd say pretentious lol lol
  25. I normally buy my pass the first day so 600$ is whatever, one year I can remember paying 729$ l do wonder if it's not a little bit of big for your britches syndrome. This year is different because they are in a pandemic and near population centers but next year is a whole new ball game and my gut says demand falls but who knows.
