I don't know your drive but everything south of blue is in good shape, 476 is snow covered but real good. I don't know if you can go around some how but my car had zero issues, except for people driving too slow

Shiiiiit, today was tits Mcgee and then some. The stoke was super high and first run down razors delivered but coming soon was what its all about. Meadow skipping start and then boom lower headwall, I can see toast with the pow bounce, Atomic was hooting the loudest I think I've ever heard, Ben getting blue pow day for the first time. It's definitely up there in memorable days. Best first run on a blue trail ever ! Ride home I even got a long stretch with no other cars, its soooo much better to drive without the kooks out there.

I was up today from 11 to 130, really good snow and not super crowded. Razors and switch were mint, fast wetter snow that's smooth and has good grip. Upper main was the only shitty snow with a solid coating of cookies but only marble sized. I'm trying to get up tomorrow for open

I was up in the afternoon as I couldn't do this morning, snow was good, weather is shit. I did about an hour and half and then called it as I was gross wet.

Challenge first thing was perfect cord, one of the best snows all year. Razors was slightly firmer but also had excellent grip. Switch was also good but blow over from main meant it was softer and slower. Really good morning to be out would have definitely liked to skip out of my 11 meeting. Saw justo and rose out when I was leaving and I was this close to staying.

Vail was one of the big firsts to try it and in Eurp they went pretty hard at it as they need some of the snow cover to keep glaciers in tact. The problem is it doesn't work, one you can't make it snow if its not already going to snow, at best you can make smaller storms bigger. Two storms and snow can go any which way, blue is small but we've all seen it snow a foot on MacArthur road and have 3 inches at blue now imagine something like that but with say the alps. Three its expensive and with little off the shelf technology whereas conventional snow making is the opposite. The magic would be conventional snow making but way higher up in the air with smaller water particles and nucleotides then you could get that up and down movement and make snowflakes rather than rods which skis infinitely better. I've always wondered how high you'd have to go, part of me says 500ft would probably make a difference but part says not. Pipe dreams anyways as it would be way too expensive for something that most people don't care at all about.

I rode from 12 to 2, super windy but all the sun made it warm. Super choppy, the bottom of side i was 70% of the way to flavor country and had my first real solid recovery of the year. Razors was the best as it was good chop where you can make a 100 high-speed little airs and keep on trucking. Most of the snow they were blowing on the challenge headwall is ending up at the Cherryville car wash, heavy wind straight up the trail.

Snow was way better than yesterday and the low crowds was absolutely spectacular....glad I didn't stay in bed

Snow was pretty rowdy today but the lot and enjo's sublime cooking made it an excellent one to spend at blue

I haven't used those but my cousin who is a professional dancer has a hyperice which is the same principal and it amazing how it improves how your muscles feel.

I rode from 330 to about 6, snow was super fast night skiing stuff but way better grip than yesterday. Falls is still interesting with some bigger holes. The winch cat appeared to be broken down on the side of challenge as they had 3 cats trying to pull it out. Lift lines got wild around 430 and tons of dick tippers/ no mask at all. I'm not a rule stickler by default but 200 people butts to nuts with no line person half of which arent wearing any mask is asking for trouble

Work meetings meant i couldn't do opening so I figured afternoon session. Sun was shining and the Temp was super comfy. Snow was a dusting over absolute boiler plate which made for super fun shit snow skiing. Big ass full width root roller on homestretch is a nice touch though I like the lumpiness on sidewinder. Upper lot sucks, why be butts to nut just to get first tracks on Vista

I rode this morning with Ben M, they were blowing all over and first couple runs where an absolute carpet. Softer and drier than their normal slop for sure, it went to smaller cookies pretty quick after that. Big ass piles on NM/DW

Totally agree, its tragic that someone had to die for such stupidity. Absolutely nothing was accomplished. I'm not sure if we are talking about the same video but that women and parts of the mob were trying to break into the secure area that had pence. The capital building was designed to be open and transparent and is alot of glass. So when they started breaking though the glass they were repeatedly commanded to back off and when they didn't and that women tried to break through he shot her in the neck. The dude was scared af and I'm sure was amazed he even hit her but still you fuck with the VP I dont care who you are or what your politics are you should expect to get shot. They resisted shooting anyone until the last minute and then you shoot one person and hope the mob relents. Its all shitty business but again its the US capital building and the response is going to be way different than looting a target. The govt is fucked up because the country is fucked up because its people are fucked up because the society is sick. Govt is just people, just like you and me, the separation between the two is convenient but nothing more.

Its actually totally and completely against the law to run any kind of state boarder based enforcement. They haven't specifically gone to the supreme court on this rona issue but it's pretty clear you can't simply pull people over for having out of state plates and fine or detain them. You could likely talk to them and remind them of things like the governors quarantine order and what not but generally they haven't done any enforcement of said orders because if it goes it court they will lose and there goes their ability to threaten entirely.

The capital police established a perimeter but when they came to the conclusion that they either had to start shooting to maintain the perimeter or let them in they did not feel they had the forces necessary and fell back to the secured locations where senators,vp, etc were being kept. When the extremists tried to breach those locations they shot that women in the neck. You can see the guys hands shaking, its one dude with a pistol vs an angry mob. Once you can get swat, who needs time to assemble and probably had members in the mob, the national guard who was for some reason late (trump) then you can retake the building. In that operation arresting people is not the goal as your just trying to clear the building and get them to go home. Its politically speaking unwise to start shooting people who are in their own minds engaging in protest. You make martyrs out of them and increase their numbers and motivation. The whole thing is a bluff were both sides are trying to figure out how far the other is willing to go. If you have to shoot everyone you've already lost so what your trying to do is get them to go home. You can't just round up 1000 national guard dudes on the spot and dc is a mish mash of various jurisdictions and bull shit because its DC. You can determine intent by your own judgment but I think it's reasonable to assume the guy for which they were all their had something to do with the limited response, after all he loves them apparently.

Tours off the top of my head when they get snow. Usa bowl Roman's in Wolvey (you can cheat and go from brighton) Bear trap Fork Circle All peak Coalpit headwall Greens basin (stay in the tight trees) Only the coalpit and Roman's are more dangerous, the others are safer tours.
