  1. Fuck no. Did it suck to ski behind you ? For sure but that was like your james bond oil slick. On a day with some more granular granular you couldn't be within 20 ft of you which is a definite safety feature at blue. i got new pants, new gloves and a sort of new car for ski season. I still have to get a new pair of daily drivers for blue but I'm not feeling anything right now.
  2. Wilmington is maybe the weirdest city. Drive down some streets on a Saturday and its a ghost town. Yet the hood is like two blocks away and is hoping and the reverse during the week. Truthfully I haven't been there much but my impression is its like a smaller houston.
  3. I texted edge but hes even more incommunicado than me. He just always just shows up
  4. This is so fucking dank ! Can't believe turns and beers pre Thanksgiving I'm coming home Saturday so I can't be there but Sunday for sure. Can't wait to see you guys
  5. Titty sparkles !! Pre Thanksgiving turns would be fkna sweet
  6. Didn't they get a new one two years ago ?
  7. The older I get the more the general state of my body seems to effect my hangover. Beers after skiing or a bike ride in the morning I can get a headache for sure. I'm fucking parched as shit in the morning, same thing after a long ride so it makes sense but younger me it didnt matter at all if I was properly hydrated or had eaten anything.
  8. I woke up saturday morning in State College to 36 degrees, fall is here for sure
  9. Its two guys from PA, their work looks good and the snowboard lineup is pretty solid. Skis are pretty limited and softer skis. If they had something stiffer I'd try them out based on PA alone.
  10. Yesterday was sick bird ! Junk snow skiing is super fun, the ski never sits still and is in the air as much as your legs can handle. Moguls arent my fav but this kinda day they are exactly perfect. It was awesome skiing with you guys and fucking around. Next year I'll bring some pam for the skis for the fast grass sections.
  11. So I'm in Tahoe and long story short, a trust worthy fellow I know told me two weeks and you'll hear news about an investor or purchaser at blue. I know of no other details but I don't believe he would be lying but take it with a grain of salt.
  12. I was wondering if you were going, have a blast dude!
  13. Trip looks awesome, I'm super happy to be in Tahoe but I do miss aspen in spring.
  14. Lots of killington is nbd. Rams head is big blue groomers, mouse trap lift is more of the same. K1 has some gnarly stuff but also easier skiing blues. Killington has a bit of everything for everyone.
  15. That was as perfect as a spring day can get. Snow was pretty decent even first thing and the afternoon session was really nice soft spring snow. Enjoralas, holy fuck dude, I would wager there isn't a ski area parking lot in the world where someone eats better. You are a saint.
  16. I was looking for you but figured you left I do, orange one
  17. I got up at 1210 and it was super nice. Snow was soft and the trails empty.
  18. I'll be there Sunday normal time, Sat around noon.
  19. Its not marketing its a $$$$ thing, once they hit the number they need for early pass sales aka float them a loan its behooves them to raise the price because they aren't saving any money on taking a loan.
  20. They will close the 31st and reopen the next weekend unless the weather is just awful. They gotta sell the hype.

  25. Rhus Ovata or Sugarbush is an evergreen shrub to small tree that grows in chaparral in dry canyons and south-facing slopes below 1300 m in Southern California, Arizona and Baja California. Rhus ovata ranges in height from 2–10 m (6.6–32.8 ft) and it has a rounded appearance. The twigs are thick and reddish in color. Its foliage consists of simple, dark green, leathery, ovate leaves that are folded along the midrib. The leaf arrangement is alternate. It blooms in April and May, and its inflorescences which occur at the ends of branches consist of small, 5-petaled, flowers that appear to be pink, but upon closer examination actually have white to pink petals with red sepals. Additionally, the flowers may be either bisexual or pistillate. The fruit is a reddish, sticky drupe, and is small, about 6 – 8 mm in diameter. Rhus ovata looks similar to Rhus integrifolia, but Rhus ovata can be distinguished by its leaves generally being folded rather than flat and more pointed than blunt as compared with the leaves of Rhus integrifolia. The main Rhus ovata population range is from the central and Pacific region Baja California north into Pacific coastal Southern California, and also in the central Arizona region of the Mogollon Rim. Rhus ovata prefers well-drained soil in a sunny location, with little water once established, being a very drought-tolerant plant. It does not respond to formal boxed pruning well; however, as needed for wildfire fuel reduction or rejuvenation, occasional autumnal cutting, down to above the base crown, is done for new basal sprouting. My advice would be to pick another plant or perhaps think about growing indoors, Sugarbush are not a good choice for our climate and growing season.
