Its total bullshit but what you gonna do......in college I had a ford escort station wagon I got from my uncle for 400$. A friend of mine drove it over the curb and crashed into a sign, we replaced the 1/4 panel on the cheap and the mother fucker didn't just have different screw sizes and three different heads but a mix of metric and standard to this day it still makes me wonder who the fuck decided on that.

That's what it's all about man, looks like the perfect day.

Sometimes the most fun nights are when it's crazy terrible.....it will come back around.

If you want to ride it for a bit you can. Step 1 get a clam knife or something and remove any debris. Step 2 make sure shit is dry Step 3 Obtain dope epoxy - Hysol is your best bet Step 4 Apply the shit out of epoxy Step 5 use like 100000 clamps Step 6 Ride and then repeat the entire process every 3 days until you get a new board because no matter how good of a job you do it's not going to last very long

Stowe got like 300mil from the bailout of AIG, that's all of spruce with facilities plus the transfer gondy. Old steps was cooler but kinda low key rustic. Killy blew up under ASC, they spent money like crack whores so when they went bankrupt they had very high maintenance costs and for 5 or so years nothing really got done. Now ownership is stable and they are coming back up. They spent a ton on snow making and some on the top lodge but they still have work to do.

7 series outside of the squad is like the black eyed peas of skiing, designed for mass appeal. Not my deal but there is a reason so many people love them.

This is what it normally looks like around the lot -
That's exactly what I was thinking or the Soul 7. Playful, wants to rip but won't punish you, can handle 99% of what anyone will throw at them.

Great Eastern is probably the best trail on the EC, when it's empty it's 3k vert of just super fun arc arc arc ok now lets look around and back to arc arc arc. Lots of skiing tips and shit (btw learn how to put your boots on or buy a WC horn because nothing says I don't know what the fuck I'm doing like some random dude grunting like he's an 90lb asian women pushing shaq's baby out) but nobody asked you the most important question. Are you fucking feeling this shit man ? Lets get real, your a great skier for only skiing two years but in the overall sense you ski like shit. Now that's cool because you've only been doing it two years but before you left you had lost your mojo no ? No emotion, no zest and you'll be the worst skier of all time which is one that lacks passion. Do you feel the passion ? When you stood up top at K1 and you clicked in were you half way to midnight ? When you got to the bottom of gondolier, before you tried to ski into the gondy did you want to ask the cute waitress if you she ever got the Cleveland steamer from a rural PA state worker at the Mansfield Inn ? You should have because that means you got the passion, lots of peeps will spend their lives on X&O's taking lessons and get no where because they lack the passion to giv'r. You took risks when you went glades but you jerry'd right out of it by taking the skis off. Your a young man to be wound so tight, slip it, step it, shit ride your poles like amateur night at Delilahs but keep the skis on and figure out a way down. You learn alot of shit fucking around in EC woods. If you found your passion back then this was a successful trip.................................... plus get another pair of skis if you want to run untracked in the woods, can't catch a 500lb tuna on a mickey fishing rod with a bobber.

Snow is a 3d environment so the difference between skis is a shape designed for that 3d environment plus what you specifically want to do with the ski. Camber is simple, your rtms are designed for hard snow where you want to press the shovel into the snow to carve a turn so the center of the ski is higher then the tips and tails. If you took your RTM's into deep snow you could in fact absolutely ski, however the positive camber will sink the tips which for obviously reasons meant you had to ride deep heavier snow in the back seat. Thus a smart person figured why not simply reverse the camber, instead of producing a tip diving pressure we could float the tip. Instead of the center of the ski being higher, the tips and tails are. It isn't actually that simple anymore as they all have varying mixes of camber profiles but I think you get the point. Camber and width keep you up floating, producing a ski that is easy to turn, slash and smear in deep snow. GSSucks is right on about what type of ski your looking for as to specific model I'd base that on what you want as a skier. They make alot of skis that are " 100-110 under foot range with a bit if rocker and some camber under foot" and they are each companies take on what that type of ski can be. Some stiffer, some softer, range of radii almost all are excellent powder tools but what separates them I think is how they are getting back to the lift. Do you want a ski that can get mach looney and be comfortable but your going to have to take a stiffer pow ski which comes with other downsides or do you want a more playful, softer ski. (the difference between say a Belafonte and PBJ) That part is up to you as only you know what type of skier you are, demo's are fucking gold because you can ride a wide range of similar skis across companies and figure out based on various build criteria exactly what it is you want in a ski.

Jackson Hole stoke thread...2015-16!!!

Fucking A, you go on vacation for a few days and everything happens. First off Ridge heal up dude shit sucks but at least everything is in one piece Second way to fucking kill it I'm super jelly -
No, if your in the back seat you can't engage the shovels correctly and everything else sucks accordingly. Generally if your in the backseat it's because your afraid and human's reaction is to sort of half ass the turn. I'm not busting on you every single skier in the world "holds up" when they don't like the snow they are seeing or whatever. Are you sure your not just tired ? Cycling is a fantastic sport that really can prep some of the muscles and shit for skiing but it's a totally different motion and application of force, skiing is a holding application that's more hip abductors and rectus femoris. If your muscles are shot your going to ski like shit and your definitely not going to engage the ski with the same kind of snap and power as when your fresh. Same thing inbetween the ears, run after run after run on the same handful of trails is going to put your brain to sleep, no passion = shitty skiing. Take a break, go to Stowe and ski with passion, drive the ski and see if you don't feel better about skiing.
