C1er, the pilot and atomics friend the former agent in the house. Plan was for hero snow but the sun was only kinda poking out up to 309 and at the start a heavy fog was in place on the top 1/3 of the hill. We started with vista/mid/ main and unsurprisingly it was soft and fast though with a definite crunch layer that is not present in hero snow. Next was the same but with le chute and the groomer must have picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue as it was an ice sheet of debris and holes. Lazy was next and that was holding the hero snow, full power arcs and even falls was pretty good. Dis was a little sloppier than lazy but still very good fast soft snow to arc arc arc. Nobody was home and the fog didn't really matter and it was very slowly moving its way out. It was as fast as we could go until I had to work at 1030 but i bet it's even better now. Super super fun start to the day and besides chute probably the best turns I've made so far.

Your absence as always was the talk of the town, I hope it was a dope party and you didn't miss much at all though I did laugh alot. Dumplings, Tom Kah and Penang curry with chicken I'm super partial to Penang unless I'm hungover then it's musaman all day. The laundry mat in Coplay was cool too, super retro but only because they haven't touched the place in decades.

Lower main I thought was the best all year, at least the first two were legit skiing with good grip and speed. It got progressively more scraped off as it went but it held on pretty well. Lazy baseballs had been milled down to pearl size so that was much improved and dis was OK. Lots of spots out and about where grip was nil made it a bit rough but generally it was ok. Chute was surface of the moon and not even good bad. I got super cold right at the end of the lot session which means I probably forgot to eat dinner so I stopped at Thai Diner in Coplay. The food is quite good but my God the decor........I like disney and I think if you can't enjoy the world that's when you old but even for me that's alot of Mickeys and princesses for a Thai restaurant

I thought today was terrible but great. Everything other than main was not good at all but main was fast and it felt like 3/4 real skiing which was super nice. Lazy continues to be astonishingly bad, like how kinda bad so I'm voting open widow/curtseys/raceway. Tonight they should do really well and get good production

Idk what the actual temp is but it's warm, yesterday and today as it heats up they are mostly throwing water. You can feel the hard spots under your feet and you can see it never freezes in the column. Yesterday mixl and I got wet and one run today stuck snow to Atomics skis. If it's sticking to his skis the rest of us are fuuuuucked.

I'm the outlier for sure but I thought today was pretty ok. Lazy was classic blue but midway to lower main I thought was a hoot though midway does have some glacial spots. Dis was coming apart run by run, each time you got more and more cookies especially as you moved down the hill. Way way way too much water out there but not alot they can do. It was super nice out, good peeps and ok skiing not too much more I can ask for on the 13th.

Infinitely better than expected, Vista was actual good and Burma was blue good. If it was anything other than a rink I would have been happy but for the most part it was only super slick in the shady spots. I didn't ski Sunday so maybe I'm off but they didn't seem to lose much depth and guns were on full blast even if its just blowing water. Super nice out and no crowds just alot of regulars, I rode with the dude for an hr and right as he had to leave I ran into mixl and then when I had to go I ran into Tarpon and took a lap as he's off to the cape for a bit. Today was a really good Chinese buffet, I expected pretty much nothing but didn't want to leave when my time was up though compared to an actual good snow day or restaurant it's at best just ok

I wasn't running plates or anything but almost the exact same car..... it's way better than you'd think you'll have fun

I had mad meetings and couldn't be there at opening, pretty sure I'm parked next to DiMe. Regardless and importantly they are blowing everywhere. It can't be much more than 33 or 32 so guns blazing mentality, literally.

NYC gets weird because they all go to Penn Station, the NEC is two level standard amtrak but unless I'm smoking crack the new trains have blue covers where only the older ones have the brown leather covers. I would say it's an older train not from Secacus Junction and maybe headed south. It's cool to mess around with when it's on top, at Sundance one time they were wind blown to like 6" to 8" inches long and you could pick them up like plates. You need like spring to round that shit out

Best 2nd day maybe ever, to make some semi legit turns in formation on good snow wasn't even in my list of possibilities. There's nothing like the moment, that 1000th of a second where the ski really starts to accelerate and your brain screams go slower or we'll die and you know to ignore it and push faster. With lazy I think this is officially their best non mother nature assisted start.

Vibes were 11/10, its so good to see everyone and get back in the rythm where skiing is part of my day. I thought the snow was better than expected but only because I expected the worst and there were sections where it felt like real skiing. If they get midway/main open tomorrow that may really help thin the herds. Even on pdis anywhere where it turns was like cattle chute where the cows are only vaguely going in the right direction. For blue it was a good opening day, I even had my standard pass failure.

I'll be there tomorrow but this weekend my presence has been requested to decorate cookies so not sure what's up yet.

Jf is three turns at medium speed and back on the lift for 2332 minutes. Lift speed to vert rise should be a stat................
