Lady who skis there all the time and runs a couple of the LV ski clubs, she knows the one groomer guy.....I can never remember her name....I'm so bad with names.... How did I not see you ? I got there around 7 and there was nobody home.

Last night was sweet, edges were not necessary, like 4 people there, snow was face melting fast and pretty smooth. Got passed on falls like i was standing still was like damn....then saw it was a girl was like double damn.....Blue told groomers open normal until this weekend, next week is fri, sat, sun at best.

Think about a tree at the atomic level......we see them constantly so we become blind to them as the thinking mind dominates the actual part doing the looking but it really truly is one of the weirdest coolest things ever. If you take the slightly faster jiggling atoms of sunlight and you knock them into CO2 the tree gets from the air you can excite the atoms enough to send oxygen to a higher energy state and bounce it back into the atmosphere. The plant via this process can produce ATP which powers the plant to produce shit like fruit. You can also burn this material, fire, if you add an external source of very fast jiggling oxygen atoms the process becomes a run away catastrophe of carbon and oxygen coming back together, just more and more jiggling and that's fire which interestingly enough is also rust just rust is way way way slower. Its a solar energy capture device, the energy you experience when burning things through both light and heat is captured sunlight. That's truly fucking wild and expands to all other things. A tree then is a product of the air not the ground. Skiing is a symphony of weird ass shit. Your planet has to be so big in relation to the sun, water must have very strange properties in relation compression, the patterns of wind, temp and pressure etc etc etc. The number of variables, the relationships that are required are immeasurable. But most people can't see this, the thinking mind, the part that has seen all this shit 10000 times before dominates and while we should be enjoying say driving we are too busy in our own minds, just non stop useless thinking. I have to go to the store to get Johnny shoes, I should take up yoga etc etc etc living in the experiencing mind more changes everything.

today was good, yesterday was better. Weekends only are ok but night skiing is almost always better at blue....way way way less people

Many moons ago, I watched a dude get posted up in that general area while riding up JP. Ate lunch came back out and he had moved about 10 feet to an even worse position skier's right. It had to be at least 45mins....I always wondered if he's dead now, just said fuck it and leapt......

I like totally dog shit snow as long as it isn't all the time. The thing we do mostly were it's all gravity doing the work, carve carve carve is awesome but its also awesome to be forced to drop that shit and go back to more survival skiing, skid, half a carve, straight line, hop, more skidding etc etc etc It looks like I'll be in VT this weekend......AS fucking loves VT
