  1. It's fine they can run it but it stops every once in awhile for 10 mins or so, last year it was down for awhile too IIRC.
  2. That's not true, State College got 6-8" because of were the trough lined up....... Blame away, lower totals allright but jack shit....this one stings....
  3. It's been busted for weeks, safety circuit is on the fritz.....
  4. Got fucked, right up the butt, Juno didn't even lube up first......JL shall now enter a period of morning.....
  5. Racing canceled, I love racing but I'd rather just ski when it's snowing....
  6. Depends on where you are. Dirty Jers, certainly, Philly is right on the line I mean literally it is the line from 6" to 14". LV/Blue is 5-9" mostly tuesday from Midnight to noonish. Caveats......ratio's could be much higher, models are going 10/1 12/1 but it's cold up high which could boost to 15-20/1. There is also the likely formation of a Norlun Trough which can really boost snowfall in a relatively small geographic area. No temp issues but the current show down is over track, GFS shows it going way way east, PA would end up with a couple of inches, NAM/EURO say otherwise, honestly all of the models are having alot of trouble with this storm but real actual observations point to higher snow totals.
  7. hahaha if I had that kind of control we'd be under about 8ft come Nov 1. Shit is getting mad testy in the weather nerd world, models are all over the fucking place and noobs hug models so they are getting way bent out of shape over 6z GFS runs going way east, GFS has no fucking clue what's going on, look at the radar the mofo is here.
  8. Be prepared for the bust talk tonight, peeps get mad antsy in the pantsy an yell bust at 9pm, wake up at 9am with 2 feet in NYC. Models show storm feb 2 and feb 8th, we are in the fucking pattern gents.
  9. lol night skiing is alot like butt sex, some people just will never get used to it being different. Clear lenses make night skiing infinitely better (they make day skiing almost unbearable lol) It can be pretty firm but it can also be the best snow because it's cold. Even if it's firm at least it's fast then, blue is pretty low angle in the grand scheme of things, lazy when soft is pretty boring but when it's a fast its way way more interesting.
  10. Whole mtn lit but there are always a few lights out. They run everything but the quad. Nights are a real mixed bag, either you get good snow all to yourself or you get total shit snow all to yourself. Generally isn't crowded, school groups are there en masse but they also leave by about 8. They can make it feel crowded lol but I ride alot of nights and crowds are never an issue. Friday is a whole different beast stay away from Blue on Friday night, is a mother fuckiing legit shit show. Snow this week should be pretty good, natural should keep it soft and no thaw which will really help. Wed 4 - 8 should be decent soft snow, pretty smooth, around 5 some more people show up but you'll wait at most 1min for the lifts. School groups out of the house around 8.
  11. Ding got about 2" overnight, very light dry stuff for PA, if the winds do their thing later gonna make visibility total shit.
  12. Super jelly, looks like some nice chalky groomers...
  13. Patience Patience, Tonight to Tomorrow AM is the money shot. Anybody at Blue Tuesday AM ?
  14. It was a little bit loooow on the deck, Tuesday morning I'll check it out again. Sun was high quality groomer action but crowds were thick early.
  15. First two runs down NM was total titty sparkles. Good six inches of new and not too heavy considering temps. Got choppy later but the 203's murder chop. Sick day tomorrow should be sweet groomers.
  16. From Mt Holly, Sat morning should be pretty good and potentially more on tap....
  17. Shit looking more positive, tonight through saturday 4-6" with maybe 8 at higher elevations. Monday's storm looks promising GFS putting out straight eye candy, Philly in 14" Plus a super bowl storm is on the models.....gonna be interesting.
  18. I know they have a left and a right I'm talking about switch them. Good to hear they are selling some skis....
  19. ^ No problem, I only knew about it because an Elan rep told me to try it when demoing a pair. He said camber on the inside, rocker on the outside unless your doing bumps. With the rocker on the outside there is less edge contacting the snow so that it enters the turn easier and quicker. With the camber side is on the inside with your weight moving more and more to that edge giving you the better edge grip. I don't really enjoy bumps outside of massive spring bumps on steep shit were you pivoting more than zippering so I don't know personally but definitely interesting to try. Elan gets no love but they make a mother fuck tons of skis for lots of other "cooler" companies and they push alot of the more interesting tech.
  20. Sat storm just keeps looking worse and worse, snow is not useful in the ocean weather god, that's maybe 4" in PA. Monday something maybe on tap too, 6z GFS shows long duration event foot+. Now this is the same shit that went on with Saturday's system, 4 days out foot plus but then starts going warmer and west....we shall see One of these has to play out and the really good news is all indications are pointing to a wild late Jan/early feb.......my dream is another day with Honey Bowl in play....lol
  21. Threeway with her daughter lol......she moved at a glacial pace....
  22. Lol this is weather shit changes constantly. Two days ago models showed a foot now the euro goes west and it's rain, tomorrow its unicorns with strapons..... It's good now, tonight was very good, just an inch or so but almost western snow. Soft and super grip.
  23. EURO was way behind, lot of action OTS.....gonna have to watch this one.
