I hear that a lot, haha. It totally happened, for the better part of the day in fact. Ski even saw me on the lift!

Guns were seriously full speed ahead today all day long. I especially enjoyed getting sprayed in the face coming off Cannonball to the Phoebe lift. And for those in the Melissa Fanclub, I got down to the north face (Cannonball) today! Yay!

FYI, per Sno's website, we got eight inches yesterday.

In case anyone cares, it started snowing in Scranton around 7:45 a.m. By 7:55 everything was already covered. ABS kicked in twice driving to work--the snow is very slippery. It's been coming down really hard all morning. I'm basically waiting til my boss says I can go home. Now time to make some hot chocolate with marshmellows!

OMG, Nick do you want to be in my fanclub? I might be out Wednesday evening (or I might just go to the gym). Don't get too excited though because I'm not touching the North Face for a good week or so til I feel solid again.

No offense was taken, I just wanted to point it out. Skibum said that one of their pumps was broken, which explains a lot. I haven't decided if I'll go over tonight. I had plans to go with a friend of mine (who also has a season pass), but yesterday she decided to take her board AND her skis in to be tuned, so now she is out. Whether I go depends on the conditions. Does anyone know what it's like over there? If I go, I'll just be sticking to the top half of the mountain though--my body is still remembering how to ski:)

For the record, I was not trying to be negative, I am just baffled as to why they didn't have more snow blown. Plus, I think it's lame that they hyped having 15 trails open and then didn't make it. In my opinion, it's better public relations to not make promises you do not keep. If I expect 15 trails to be open, I am disappointed when there are not 15 trails open.

Okay here is my two cents... I went yesterday and while it wasn't bad or anything, it was not what they had hyped it to be. 15 trails? It was 8. Also, I did NOT enjoy trekking through the mud to get on a trail. Finally, in case anyone cares, I was pleased with my performance given that I haven't been on skis in at least 6 years. Why in the world did they not have more snow blown? It's been consistently below freezing (VERY below freezing!) since the end of November. Right now, it's raining at Sno, which means that some of the snow that they have will probably melt. I'm sure it will get better, but for my first time ever skiing at Sno, I was not impressed. Also, sorry to disappoint my fanclub (which really just has one member, Ski), but I will NOT be there tonight. It's yucky out, plus I just got back from spending the night in Clarendon, so I'm tired. Cross your fingers for better results from Sno!!

I lived in Doylestown til I went away to college, etc. My parents still live there, so I go back quite a bit, especially now that I am only 2 hours away (as opposed to when I was living in Virginia and was 5 hours away). Ski, there have been some rumors that you were seen disposing of a blue plastic barrel/trashcan/bin. Is this true?

Ah, Zadars! I grew up like 10 minutes from there. I was just at the Martini bar in Scranton tonight, and actually, upstairs had a decent techno/dance DJ. It isnt a huge space or anything, but if they had a dj spinning those kind of tracks, I imagine they get a decent dance crowd--you should check it out! If that doesn't float your boat, head to Europe:) If you and your wife open your own club, I promise to visit. OH, you should totally open an after hours club at Sno!
