what, are you some kind of germophobe or something? Nice pics, Moe. Sounds like you are living the life as per usual.

yeah, she landed on her face, and, oddly enough, it was an improvement. Her second run was pretty good, but not better than Torah's. That pipe was looking pretty rutted; must be a lot warmer tonight than it was last night. -
Guides are a bit cheaper if you have a group, but they are still going to be pricey. I ordered my tickets online ahead of time off the JHMR website and saved a few bucks that way. There is still plenty of stuff in bounds that'll get you stoked.

My second wife, Lindsey Vonn, just put up the fastest time in training. http://www.nbcolympics.com/news-features/news/newsid=420091.html#vonn+fastest+training+time+first?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter -
get that checked out, Douglas. I'm planning on heading up tomorrow early for some pre-work runs.

It was amazing. I thought I knew what to expect from all your TR's and all the videos I've seen of people riding/skiing there, but it's so much different in person. For one thing, it's just absolutely beautiful there. The dark rocks contrasted with the white snow is ridiculous. You can really understand why a couple of cowboys there might want to share a sleeping bag. On the bluebird day, I took my first run of the session down Amphitheater and hit a natural jump between two trees. I started giggling like an idiot. Everything was so steep and so deep, and you can't really pick up that perspective in any video/pic. This was my first time in real powder, and my first trip out west. It was definitely life changing. I'm definitely a better rider now, and I'm sure I'll look at everything differently, too. I may even be a better person. We went into town on Saturday night. We did some shopping for our wives and stuff, then had dinner at the Cadillac Grill, which was really good. We then moseyed on over to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar to play some pool and get blasted. yee haw!

Today was a tale of two conditions. On the drive over, the atmosphere looked like New England clam chowder. ugh. As we rode the Gondoleeza, we broke though the clouds to find lovely blue skies. The temps were just over freezing, so the powder from the previous days was soft and fun. We rocked down Amphitheater to the Thunder lift and just started lapping all the goodness. I split off from the other two guys and stayed with condi runs as they went over to the tram. After lunch, everything changed. It all got frozen, chunky, and weird. It seemed like I was back in PA. haha I just ran laps off Aprez Vous until 3:30 or so, then we hit the Hof for some Spatens and big bubble butts. Here's some pics from the week: waiting for the shuttle: snowing like crazy on thursday AM: Bunch of men huddled up for warmth: Bumpy! Outta sight! Black it is! Today's bluebird: Some hooligan was putting stickers up in the Bridger Center bathroom stalls:

In stark contrast to PA, we had a bluebird day today. I'll get a legit TR up later after some beers at the A-Hoff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3f7YAEHiGqY Oh! and another thing - all the women here have unbelievable asses. Skiing must build up big, meaty hineys. Love it! Since it was snowing pretty hard all day, visibility was shit, so I only brought the Flip cam out. I think I brought the cable for my camera.... if I did, I'll get some pics up from the past few days. JADIP

Done for the day, and I'm fucking gassed. Went out of bounds again. Lovely. It was snowing pretty hard all day, so the conditions were even better than yesterday. There was a little crust this morning, but it just got better and better as the day went on. Hobacks were slayed. Faceshots a-plenty. Video to be uploaded later.

One of the guys calculated our vertical out to around 23000 today. Pro snowboarder Jaime Lynn was here today throwing his methods off anything he could. We were in the gondola line with him, and he couldn't be cooler.

done, and it was fantastic. The fact it was served by an attractive, young woman had nothing to do with it. Riding real pow is defnitely a life changing experience. This trip has been absolutely magical. Speaking of magic, time to make some more Snake River stouts disappear.
-
Hopefully I can get some photos and videos up if I can pinch off someone's wireless. After lunch, we took the tram up and got out of bounds for aa bit. The pow was knee deep and super fluffy. We then got onto a hoback, which was challenging and exhausting. Visibility got pretty rough up top, so we mostly worked the lower stuff over on the right side of the mountain. We are back at the Alpenhof for Beer Night, which is the greatest night of the week.

Having lunch at the Alpenhof. This morning was fantastic. I got a bunch of pics and a few videos, but there's no Internet connection in the condo. Fail. The powder is shin deep, but the visibility is hit or miss. The sun looks like it's coming out for our afternoon runs. Woop woop!

Got in a little late, but still managed to get in 7 runs. Mostly worked the Casper Bowl just to get used to things. It's snowing now, so hopefully we'll get another 6" to fill everything in. Did get some tree riding in, which was epic. Pics and videoblog hopefully tomorrow.

Things are looking pretty good for JH. They got 5 feet last week and another 19" Sunday/Monday. There's a chance of snow every day through Sunday. Everything's all packed up and ready to rock. My moronic brother left me with this gem of wisdom: "Just don't break your legs while you're out there." Thanks. I was really hoping to. Idiot. Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of snow after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -10. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Stoke levels will increase through the day. Wednesday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. Light and variable wind. 100% chance of beer. Thursday: A 50 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. South wind between 3 and 7 mph. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible. Stoke levels will be higher than the previous day. Thursday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14. West southwest wind between 3 and 6 mph. 0% chance of dancefloor injuries. Friday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. South southeast wind around 6 mph. Stoke warning will be in effect until 5 PM. Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Chance of gluttony 100% Saturday: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. Stoke warnings remain in effect until 5 PM. Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. Chance of a dead brother-in-law 50%. Sunday: A slight chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 27. Stoke levels to return to levels from Wednesday.
