    bonktown

maybe for when a rider bonks/hits the wall/eats his balls? doesn't seem like a good advertisement. "Shop with us and bonk till you drop!" Great site, though. They will be getting substantial amounts of my moolah.
  4. Glad to hear it went well. To paraphrase George Clinton, "Free your mind and your skis/board will follow."
  5. Pretty sure I'm off from work the 21st
  6. I can definitely swing any Sunday. Saturdays are iffy (due to work).
  7. Just walked the dogs after the game, and we have a nice dusting in East Falls
  8. You, sir, are Edgar Allen Poe. Good seeing eveyone today, and good meeting you, Chippy. Great conditions overall. I didn't really hit Sidewinder at all - I figured the first few days it was open would be a little rough, so I just brought the freeride board and went for speed. Ended up riding the lift with another guy named Mike, chatted it up with him, and rode a few runs with him. Cool guy and good rider. Between me, him, and all the other Mikes on PASR and the planet, we should really assemble an army of Mikes and take over the planet.
  9. I'm in for tomorrow. 8 AM till my legs fall off.
  10. The width is about the same on my freeride/jump board as it is on my park/jib board, but my stance angles are a little different: freeride +15/-6 park +12/-9. I'm pretty centered on the park board and have about an inch of setback on the freeride.
  11. c'mon. someone had to do it.
  12. so could anyone with a dartboard
  13. you betcha
  14. half man, half daschund
  15. Nothing seems to be happening here at Philadelphia Park. Does anyone hear a loud clip-clop sound? AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!
  16. The PASR News Van is now at Salters Ski Shop in Eagleville, PA, where it seems the sleet and rain mix has stopped. When the weather changes, we'll let you know. This segment was brought to you by Salters Ski Shop. Providing all your ski and snowboard needs since 1847.
  17. I'm with the PASR News Van in Royersford now, and it's changed over to all sleet. When the situation changes, we'll keep you posted. PASR News. All weather, all the time.
  18. just a tiny bit of rain mixed with sleet here in Philly. back to you in the studio, Moe.
  19. today's lesson: always wear a belt
  20. shit. Gary Wright, not REO Speedwagon. Oh well.... both stink, but hopefully the trail will be nice. Loading Dream Weaver onto my Zune as I type.
  21. both are open. Come Around is pretty fun, but most people use Terrain Run as a shortcut to to six-pack, so it's normally a shitshow.
  22. Ooh dream weaver I believe you can get me through the night Ooh dream weaver I believe we can reach the morning light REO Speedwagon stoke!

    CW-X

lots of pro cyclists have been using it for recovery (ie throw it on right after a race or tough training day). I haven't actually tried it while exercising, though. Compression Wear is something like getting a massage after you work out, but these look pretty cool.
  24. I found if you rocket straight at the patrollers on Paradise and finally slow down right at the absolute last second, the patrollers REALLY will take a liking to you. It shows them how good you are and how good of a sense of humor you have. They'll just give you a wry look and say, "Oh, you...."
