    Crash Pads

Level Gloves has a pretty good diagram on how certain wrist guards just push the injury higher up your arm: http://www.levelusa.net/values/biomex.phtml
  2. After reading all this, I think I need a drink. In fact, I know I need a drink.

    Binding Advice

Yep, non-EST Cartels will fit onto a standard 4x4 non-Burton board. They're good bindings, but a bit overpriced (unless you find them on sale). I'd stick with those Rome one's you were looking at.
  4. The only reason I'm getting my season pass at Blue this year is for free tubing. Baby I was born to tube.
  5. front side boardslide. completely unintentional since I was attempting a 50/50.
  6. Special Blend Division pants Dragon DX goggles still looking for a new pair of gloves....
  7. Had to bust out the fleece this weekend. I'm just now beginning to obsess about the weather and new equipment. BRING IT!!!
  8. I'm out for next weekend (have to work). I also have a Spring Fling coupon if anyone wants it.
  9. can't you just upload the pics to Photobucket or another free hosting site? The world needs to see Doug touching the sky at Blue Mountain. The people in my office are enjoying the pics immensely. As they should.
  10. your jacket was truly dazzling
  11. Melissa only crashed because her jacket was trying to commit suicide. Poor jacket..... ....and I totally forgot Snoskier on my original TR. Great guy with a great hat and fanny pack. R.I.P. Bob's camera
  12. Just got back from a great Gaper Day at Blue. Met Doug, Sexkitten (Leslie), and Boblikescats (Bob) in the lower lot. When we went to score our $10 tickets, the window people had no idea what we were talking about. A few phone calls later, and we were on a shuttle to the upper lodge. Fancy limos for fancy people! Doug was rocking his fur hat, Members Only jacket adorned with plenty of flair, and a lovely airbrushed t-shirt. Leslie was in a white one-piece with green faux fur gaitors and a matching green visor. Bob was also sporting a one-piece, his choice for the day was purple with a matching jester hat. I had on my neon and black down (?) jacket which was warm enough for space travel. After our little delay, we hooked up with Doug and Mbike-ski (Mike) at the top of the six-pack. We took a few more runs, then met up with Matt. The one-piece twins were a big hit. "I just love your retro outfits!" We bombed Paradise a few times, and the red coats just smiled and waved. At about 10:30 I think, it was time for some parking lot cocktails. Doug stopped off for a sammich with extra steeze. A few drinks in, Melissa showed with her friends. More drinks were had, as were cherries soaked in some sort of chemical solvent. I had to bail early because I have to scrape and patch our bedroom wall. Fun times. I'm sure there are plenty of details and people I missed, and for that I apologze in advance. Bob got lots of pics, so prepare for some chuckles later. It was great finally riding with everyone. Off to sand and spackle land. Woo hoo!
  13. meh. I just had a melanoma removed from my back Wednesday, so I'm all stitched up. I'm just going to be chillin' on the hill tomorrow. And looking fantastic. I got some Strongbow English cider in 16 oz cans for tomorrow AM. It's a brilliant breakfast drink. I'll be in my silver Mazda Protege5. You guys normally park kinda near the parking lot entrance, don't you?
  14. Rain? uh oh..... my neon-accented down jacket is going to weigh like 130 lbs. oof!
  15. are we still meeting 7:15 bottom lot? also, the other thread said to meet at 9 at the top of the six-pack. base would be easier, though.
  16. Alrighty. Just back from Goodwill, and I scored a doozy of a jacket. Black with neon trim, about a size too small, and with some horrendous design on the back. The best $12.50 I've ever spent. I'll get pics up in the AM. I couldn't stop giggling in the store.
  17. hmm. good point. gonna have to get a little more creative..... may have to rock the beer can backpack.
  18. There's a Goodwill right by my office, so I'll hit that on the way home. I may have to break out the ol' Camelback and fill it with gin & tonics or something. This is going to be hilarious.
  19. You could always rock one of those old school Bota Bags:
  20. I'm definitely in for Saturday. I don't have all that much gaper-ish clothes (maybe a pair of pants that are a bit too tight, though), but I am willing to wear my helmet backwards while sporting shop goggles. You never know when some random woodworking may spring up. haha
  21. I'm in for Saturday! Snurfing, anyone?
  22. "Me fail English? That's unpossible!"
  23. Hey GNU - I stopped in to Spectrum and got some stuff, despite them being pretty cleaned out. Does G-Spot have more stuff in stock than Spectrum?
  24. Looks pretty cool! I'll definitely go check out Sno when I can.
