I'm still crossing my fingers for a Star Trek transporter type-of-thing. From checking the webcams, the conditions don't look too horrible. There are a few bare spots, but no big deal.

Yeah, they're totally worth it. Even a cheap pair with amber lenses would be nice. Since we have been getting so little natural snow, we mainly have to deal with machine-made. If you are ever out riding or skiing while they are blowing snow and you are not wearing goggles, it's a miserable experience.

From looking at the webcams, it looks like they fixed a bunch of the bare spots. Can anyone confirm this?

There were A LOT of bare spots showing through last night. However, there are some giganitc piles of snow all over the mountain. If the crowds are light and they are creative with the piles, they should be ok until it gets colder this weekend.

I was on the quad when the helicopter was taking out the bikerx guy. It never stops freaking you out when you see that. Get better soon, Mr Bike Man. Fun day at Blue. VERY crowded. There were a lot of characters out today, too: people in full-on gaper gear, the Asian Invasion was in full effect, and there were even some Mennonite/Amish girls skiing down Paradise in their long, blue dresses. Sweet.

I locked it up outside when I went in to hit the bathroom. They must've cut the cable or something. I locked it right by the board check thinking it might be somehow safer there. I won't be making that mistake again.

Never Summer SL with Rome Targas. It had a bunch of OBEY stickers on it, but they are most likely long gone. I appreciate it.

I was there last night, and it was fantastic (well, aside from my board getting stolen - that was pretty f-ing far from fantastic). Lots of fresh powder, and almost no one on the entire right side of the mountain.
