  1. Thanks for the TR from the 21st...sounds like a rad day. Hopefully, there will be more set up this weekend and the rain doesnt kill the stoke.
  2. Should have turned into a zombie flick IMO. Zombie skiers and riders, zombie wolves and lots of guns. Dawn of the Dead (new school) but in a ski resort.
  3. Hey Rob, nice TR! What was set up in the ONE park? Was it the usual 3 jump line with a few boxes up top and bottom? Heading up this weekend and was curious...Thanks
  4. I will be there with a few buddies. Super bright blue Poc helmet...hard to miss! I am renting a cabin up there for the weekend so I am riding JFBB on the 26th and 27th, hell maybe even x-mas night at BB! http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl;jsessionid=0a0101441f43095a241b467f446db740a23c901d7f76.e3eSc3uNaNuTe34Pa38Ta38Qc350?c=667537&n=2&it=A&id=2491 2 lift tickets for $48. Dont know if you need 'em but I picked up a few.Cheers
  5. Check your local country clubs/golf courses. Some townships allow sledding during the day, and the ones that dont, well, night riding is good. I went to Doylestown Country Club all day yesterday and was not bothered. Built two nice kickers, bought some PBR and had a blast! Nice workout hiking, too.
  6. Well, I was watching it for the past few days and it went from heavy rain to light rain and then showers to few showers. So, on a good note it could change to light snow or no showers at all. Cheers Also, the A/C is blasting!!
  7. A lot of Japanees riders use wax paper for the same thing. Crayon on, place wax paper over iron and rub down. I dont know why, but thats just how they do it. I am going to try the wax paper method and see if its any different....
  8. I hope it pushes more north, this way we will be the ones getting butt fucked! Wait.......what?
  9. Thanks! Looking good for the next two weeks with a little help from mother nature even!
  10. Any locals interested in keeping us updated on the current conditions? Flurries supposedly tonight, the 19th, 24th and 25th. White x-mas! cheers!
  11. Did anyone go to this? Just curious to how it went...
  12. I actually ride an Agent .(go figure, right?) I have the 07/08 model and LOVE it. I dont really stick to one type of riding, I do park, pow, jumps and have even raced my bro down a mogul run a few times. It has great flex and it pops sweet ollies. After riding it a few times, I vowed to always ride an agent. Rome isn't BSing when they say it does it all. I really dont have a lot to say about the Mod b/c I never rode one. But I have never felt like it was too noodle-like while bombing runs or landing jumps and have never felt like it was too stiff for jibbs. While in Whistler last season, I got a chance to take it through some deep pow. After I moved my stance back a bit, the board floated perfectly. I usually have it set dead center for riding switch and found thats not good for riding deep pow. Either way you go, you will be happy with Rome products. Just my $ 0.2 .... Let me know if you have any questions about the agent, also. Dont know if you looked at these yet...not really a ton of info, but maybe will help you decide... http://www.romesnowboards.com/shredtv/view/24 http://www.romesnowboards.com/shredtv/view/23
  13. www.brociety.com www.steepandcheap.com www.tramdock.com You will have to keep an eye on them to wait for good deals, but I see pants on those websites pretty regularly. Cheers!
  14. Looks like a fun movie to checkout!! Thanks for the heads-up!
  15. Pretty sweet pics! 7 trails, 2 lifts and $49 lift tickets....no too bad for first week in november I guess!
  16. Awesome find, I never heard of that site and have never been up to Whiteface. Thanks philly!
  17. For the Photobucket pics, type egress to view. Sorry for multiple posts.

  19. I never wrote a review before, so here goes... After trashing my R.E.D. Trace, I really wanted a new brain bucket for this season. It was between the Bern Watts and the Poc. I decided to go with the Poc mainly because it has the US ASTM F 2040 certification and well as the European EN 1077 - Class B certification. I was shocked to see how many helmets were certified for only one or the other and in some cases, none of them! I just like to see what I am trusting my brain with is legit. I purchased mine from http://www.ski-depot.com/ They are one of the few Poc dealers in the US and I have to say that my experience with them was wonderful. They didnt have the size/color combination I wanted, so the salesperson called over to Poc's warehouse in Sweden to check availability. She called me right back and said she is having it shipped over right away. Great customer service! Poc is a newer company that specializes in downhill racing helmets and are geared toward skiers in general. Even though I snowboard, the styling and engineering that goes into these things sold me right away! The helmet fits like a dream. Super comfortable, low profile and has removable covers on the inside to allow for full ventilation on warmer days. I was surprised to see the other accessories provded by Poc. It came with a helmet bag ( same material as a goggle bag), a removable goggle clip (for wearing your gogs outside your helmet), a set of extra interior pads to get the fit just right, the 'bankers brim' (Poc's name for a removable visor for the front of the helmet for avoiding scratches to gogs and redirecting water run-off) and an owners manual giving you all the info you could ever need to know for the helmet. The liner is removable for summer and the customizable vent system allows you to dial in your prefered air flow. The attention on detail in unreal, quality is top notch and the styling is perfect. I like to wear my goggles inside the helmet and they even have a removable pad around the back on the inside to allow room for your goggle straps and adjusters. Havent gotten to ride with it yet, but so far this thing is everything a helmet should be. I picked this one up for $130 including shipping. Yes they are pricey, but worth every penny and I dont like skimping on protection (I know, thats what she said). I have the Dragon/Nomis Co-op Mace goggles and the color match is sweet! http://www.pocsports.com/index.asp Check out their website... Also, I will be happy to answer any questions! p.s. Sorry about the small pics
  20. LoL, nice pic of KC, linebacker anyone? Love the profile pic too, Durden. Jeremy's part was by far the best IMO. Super fast paced, loved the old school Metallica tunes and some shots of him standing on his motorcycle blasting down the highway was a nice touch. After watching the Deeper trailer, both Jeremy Jones' are absolute beasts. Cheers.
  21. The event was really sweet. The riders were there and they threw out some t-shirts. I would probably guess there were like 70 peeps there in the Franklin Theatre. I really liked the movie, I mean normal over-the-top park features. After party was dope. Probably 100 people packed into Silk City, including the riders. Jussi was drinkin some Coronas, as was I b/c there was a rep there giving out free beers! It was cool drinking with the riders b/c you get to see they are just normal people. My buddy was talking to Kelly Clark about the phillies and the sports history of philly and all that jazz. She was drinking water, maybe she doesnt drink, I dont know. I think there were reps from Boulder Park there b/c Fredi and Mads talked to them most of the night. Definetly a good female turn out!! All in all great time, I would definetly do it again. Dont remember leaving the after party, so it must have been good!
  22. Super ready! Thanks for the update..
  23. Tommorrow night at The Franklin Institute/Franklin Theatre- 7:00. Sounds pretty dope, I'm going to head down. Plus afterparty @ Silk City! http://www.buckmans.com/News/Images/PDFs/Burton-World-Tour-coming-to-Buckmans.pdf
