I'm psyched to be going back to Shawnee this season also. I haven't been there in 5 years and they have a high speed lift now.

I figure since we already have the ticket, all it really costs is gas, beer and time. Carpool?

That's really the best way. I go to VT right after the New Years crowd leaves. It's usually pretty empty.

I've got the green light to start my season, but it's not looking good for this weekend. I'll probably do opening day at Belleayre or Hunter if they open up next week. I noticed Belleayre changed their webpage from opening 11/25 to "We'll open as soon as possible." So am I going to get in turns before you this season?

Mike, you might be better off reaching out to Blue on your own. That being said, I used the paid feature for the last month of the season. I enjoyed it. I don't know if I'll pay for it all season this year or not yet.

Actually, Blue used to have the Blue Blizzard card, which didn't have any free lift tickets attached to it, but was a reasonable option for discounted tickets on the weekends.

I'm planning to chase some better snow conditions this season. I've bought 8 Ski-VT tickets and a Hunter Big Lift card since they are both great deals.
