  1. Blue should get with the times and have a Mountain Rep on PASR.
  2. Razors and Challenge. I loved my 1st run down Razor's this morning. So sweet. Gorgonzola / M-bike ski in the death bumps on Challenge A very thirsty Root Main Street bumps were a little glossy What's wrong with this picture? The jibhonks The Big Air Bag A little over inflated? There's some skeet spots. Paradise into Dreamweaver should be roped off. AtomicSkier Dreamweaver No lift lines Rail Jam Disc Golf starts 5/22 Toast clued me in to the fact that's it's the First Day of Spring promotion at Rita's. I hit 3 of them on the ride home. Root Beer (get it?) I tried the Florida Orange Mint Chocolate Chip
  3. Date(s) Skied: 3/20/2010 Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain Conditions: Sunny springtime conditions Trip Report: What an awesome day at Blue Mountain today. I pulled into the lower lot at 7:35 am. At 7:40 am AtomicSkier and I were starting the day off with a nice cold beer. Next thing you know, I've got 3 in me before 9:30 thanks to my beer bottle pockets. Such nice skiing all day. Oh yeah, they re-seeded a really long section of Challenge again last night. Imagine that! Lots of PASR's in the house today, rolling several six-pack deep. I finally left around 12:30 and went up to the Summit Lodge and bought next years season pass and signed off on the waiver as well. I've never been at Blue for closing and I've never actually seen anyone pond skimming, so I'm looking forward to that. I know I left out shit loads of details, toast hitting the glades, beer runs to the parking lot... Pics are uploading now.

When I got to Blue, I parked next to two guys who were layering up. Two layers plus an insulated jacket. I was baffled.
  5. Oh yeah, black pants...probably a grey jacket
  6. Sniff...the end is here for Blue... Last roll call...post up if you are coming on either Saturday or Sunday (am or pm). Is anyone participating (or sticking around) for any of the events? I'm thinking about watching the pond skimming, then hitting the passholders party. Anyone (else) bringing up beers?
  7. Yeah, and we've already established that dirty snow isn't worth skiing on Well played R2
  8. Hunter is offering their annual "Any Passholder Day" again on 3/28. Anyone thinking about going? I'm pretty sure I'll go. It's free (sans gas) after all. http://www.huntermtn...der_day&filter=
  9. Maybe I misunderstood the concept, but is ripping off your customers any smarter?

Date(s) Skied: 3/18/10 Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain Conditions: Creamy Trip Report: What a gorgeous day to go skiing. It was 71*F when I left home and a very sunny 68*F when I arrived at Blue Mountain. I cracked open a beer and quickly booted up. Pulled my ear flaps out of my helmet and left my goggles in the car. Man did it feel soooo good to be skiing with a warm breeze on my face under sunny skies. There's a sink hole on Paradise and a few sketch spots here and there, but otherwise the base is holding up really well. At least 2-5 feet everywhere. Base depths Dreamweaver Razor's Edge The Big Air Bag has been moved over to Central Park The Hole on Paradise Sunset - I took these for Johnny Style who misses the sunsets at Blue while living the good life out in Aspen! Crescent Moon over Tut's Lane This was my last RAW at Blue this season, and probably the best one as well!
  11. They listened
  12. Stealing from your employer is not cool.
  13. +1
  14. He took a wrong (or right) turn and we got separated. I was pretty much spent anyway and it was going to be my last run of the day anyway.
  15. Yeah, for about half a run .
  16. I had a blast. Skied Stowe on Friday. Snow was soft to start with...let's just call it a heavy packed powder, turning softer as the day progressed. Saturday at Bolton Valley was great. It got below freezing overnight and the surface was nice and carve-able all day long. I skied there from 8:30 until 3:45. Between me being exhausted and the DST change, I got to Stowe late on Sunday and it was pouring rain. I passed...I really didn't feel like getting soaked or taking a chance of getting injured. I took a bunch of pics that I can hopefully post up later.
  17. Is the Valley lodge closing just for this weekend or the season?
  18. No shit. That's an awesome pic!
  19. Have fun.
  20. Wow, great pics Jeff!.
  21. Green snow is really fast
  22. Are you going to take the run with the Gopro running?
  23. Plus it's fun to yell at them while on the lift.
  24. I just got this via email. http://www.shawneemt...ampaign=ongoing
