You might be right, but since I can't edit the post, Blue will just have to change their trail names

Nice TR. I've always wanted to go to Whiteface.

and you get to drink beers all at the same time.

Thanks. Hopefully it will be there at the end of the week.

I don't use any base cleaners. Once or twice a season, I'll apply a warm wax, and scrape it off right away, then re-wax and let it set up overnight before scraping.

Someone on Alpinezone commented on my Blue TR that they always wondered what the place looked like, so I decided to make a photo tour of Blue. I

Season is getting short, and I really want to get some days in, so I might be up there either Tuesday or Wednesday after work.

I'll be away on the 14th, so I'm in favor of the 21st

Date(s) Skied: 2-28-2009 Resort or Ski Area: Blue Mountain Ski Area Conditions: Frozen Solid Hardpack Trip Report: I arrived at Blue a little after 8am and was on the snow before 8:30. First run was down Razor's Edge. Solid cord, which vibrated my legs nicely to loosen me up a bit. Lazy mile was next, major death cookies. I ran into GSS and AtomicSkier on my 3rd run and skied with them until around 10:30. We tempted fate with a high-speed run down Paradise, which was a lot of fun, probabily the softest snow on the mountain at time. Next run, we didn't fare as well, and GSS and AS got chased down by the Ski Police, but didn't get caught. I took some time today to take some pics with my new Canon 790IS. I'm very happy with it. I stayed until around 1 and did a total of 23 runs & 25940 vertical feet. My knee wasn't bothering me at all while I was on the mountain today, but I've noticed I'm holding back, as if I expect it to. It's a little sore now, but no where near as bad as a few weeks ago....Ok time for some pics Looking down a frozen Razor's Edge Frozen cord Looking up Razor's Edge Lower Razor's Sidewinder Park Razor's from the lift Icy bumps on Challenge Dreamweaver from the lift Here's a panoramic shot by using the Photo Stitch software...pretty neat

Let me clarify: I took some general pics of Blue today, not of the chase.
-
I was behind the Ski Police who was going after you guys. At first, he was hot, then he pulled back, but when he saw Jeff in that tuck after the last left, he tried his damnedest to catch up, but gave up at the Dreamweaver merge. I took some pics with my new cam, I'll post up later.
-
I was really tempted by them also.

Yeah, not enough to ski on though. The few trails that don't have snowmaking were total glaciers and closed. I have one Snowbomb voucher left, and most likely will head up there on Saturday if they get hit.

I paid $51. http://www.snowbomb.com/store/itemdetail.p...RD494038DC68F58

I might be going back to Windham Saturday 2/21 because I have one voucher left, but I think you're heading to VT. My folks took me to RHR as a kid...good times The air bag was getting a lot of use. $25/day or $100 for the season.

Learn to tune and wax, and you're still helping out the ski economy by purchasing all sorts of tools, waxes, vices, brushes, files....
-
nice pics, hopefully Blue made some cash today, because Windham wasn't crowded at all.

Today was pretty sweet. Run of the day was Why Not.
