Cory Booker is not part of the NJ State legislature, and is not involved with this effort. He does support legalization though. I'm actually stunned that any elected democrat won't support this.

It's not scheduled for voting yet. You are correct that the black democrats are fighting against this. Their plan is to decriminalize weed, and leave the black market alone. If a black market can co-exist with a regulated open market, it is only because the government is placing too many restrictions on the open regulated market, namely high taxes.

Words don't describe how much fun yesterday was. Skiing with the biggest group of assholes in PA and loads of meat under the full sun. Life is pretty fucking good. The after-meat skiing was Razor's laps as much I my legs could take, it was so good between 12-3p. I'll post some of the pics I took later this morning.
