So a bunch of we're talking on the lift this morning and it seems like there's real interest in hitting Montage next Saturday. I'd really like to hitch a ride in a BMW or a Subie. Maybe hit blue for a run or two on the way home...

I use the red/green for hydro. I also have the red/green flouro. The Bacons have the green flouro on them today. I wouldn't buy the red flouro again, as the white seems to do just as well in the warm stuff. I use the white if I'm headed out of town and I don't want to have to do anything to them for a few days.

I really like the Shawnee idea. Now that they have a hsq we could have a great day there. I *might* be able to get some discounted tickets there through work.

I'd gladly take up the role of "Team Tinnies" Curling captain if we could make this happen. That curling center is 15 minutes away from me and has been there since the late 60's.

Yeah, but it hurts MRG and I don't want to see any ski area have to deal with mid-season closures due to lack of snow.

If MRG isn't open, then their passholders will go somewhere else. That means longer liftlines and more people on the trails, so there is an effect on other mountains.

No, I just think you're showing your immaturity. MRG losing their base hurts effects all the ski areas around it and I want to see them all to be successful if I ski there or not.

Why is it nice?

I didn't go, as it was sleeting when I got back from the airport. I'm thinking maybe just Wednesday now (resurface tomorrow) and then go to VT for a 3 day weekend Thursday afternoon.

This weather sucks. It's totally interfering with my plans for this week as I was hoping to get in two ski days before Thursday. I lost 8" of snow off my lawn (and in the woods) in 36 hours. I guess I'll just go make some more beer.

Actually, Rams Head is my go-to parking location. It's the first you get to on the access road, and it's got good lot-to-lift access, and easy to get back to at the end of the day. Lunch - K1 Umbrella bar or Bear. Not so much for the food, but to watch everyone else take their run. Oh, take the Outer Limits lift at least once too.
