The it was off to teaching my little sister how to snowboard for the rest of the day. and the wind was horrible by 1, i took one last run while she got her boots off in the lodge and i barely made it to sidewinder. but overall had fun and im ready to hit up stratton all next week then off to school

smuggs was the place to be today. buddies that went to stowe said it was no good all tracked out by lunch. we met a local on the lift and he showed us the goods, our buddy who met him smelled the burbon on him when they were talking and later ended up giving us what he had left. Top 3 best runs i have ridden, i havent ridden powder much but that was the best day. we just expected a mellow 2 hour session after our last classes of the smester. I am so happy i couldnt stop smiling the whole way down. ahhh now to go and relax and drink a few. best pre christmas pre finals present ever.

It sucks not ahving a car up here and friends who want to study a shitload for finals, i need a break from all of this work. picture to come

stowe is pretty freaking expensive if money is something you are taking into consideration, but there is awsome terrain sugarbush has decent terrain and doesnt get as crowded as other places. its hard to give one place because they are all pretty different

las night here at Saint Michaels we had our 7th annual jibfest. This year the first date got rained out moved to tonight but we decided to push it forward because it was guarunteed dto pour rain tonight. We began setting everything up in the field fri morning at 10 made the call around 2 to have the contest that night. It was choas. Luckly we got hooked up with a hydrolic trailer and fill it all the way to teh top of the 6 foot walls with rink snow from UVM. enough talking Set up: 2 15 foot drop in's on one side was a flat down box with a flat rail in the ground about 30 ft behind that. on skiers left was a flat rail on a platform with a 5 ft drop, a kid threw a 270 on to sketchy 630 out and a wallride set up diagonal. look below more pics to come soon

when you think about it, bindings are just as important as a decent board, like mentioned before, you need a solid pair of binidings to transfer you power ot the board, but if your bindings are solid you should be fine, if your board is substatialy too small for you then go for a new one. I ride my old K2 that was my first board sometimes adn it still holds up okay, there is a few difference in how it rides. But it isnt the board making you better its the progression of your skills. after reading some reviews it seems like it could sustain into an intermediate board also, just depends on how you feel with it under your feet in the end i am going to have to say boots>board>bindings
