  4. What would you like to know about it? I'm one of the people that manages the website and I'd like to know what you'd like to see. I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to find the information you want, and basically, i'm here to help. I'm also on here all the time so if you have questions about offers or something like that, I'll answer them to the best of my ability or find the answers for you.

exactly...however, I do honestly think that wouldn't be too big of an issue.

First, I'm glad you guys like it! I don't actually make the map (I'm not really sure who does actually...), and I also can't remember where the glades actually are...It's been a while since I've been that far to the left...But I think you're right... The conditions page bothers me too...I'm actually in Arizona so I'm definitely not the one that updates it, lol. I'm actually working on an application that will run on a computer at the mountain that will pop up every morning and demand that you update the conditions page. Ideally I would like to get something together that can be used to print the condition reports that they already use and integrate the website updates into that so it's one process for both and, as long as the report is updated daily, so is the website. So basically, I know it's a bit of an issue. Personally I think that it was MUCH better than in previous years. As far as the moose goes, all I can really say is that it's the logo that was given to me by Sno. Love it or hate it, it's here for now.... Maybe that will change in the future, but I honestly have no idea...
  7. So if you guys haven't figured it out already, I'm the person who designed and now does a lot of maintenance on all of Snos' websites. We're getting closer to the start of the season and I want to know what you guys want to see on the site. You're the customers, so yeah, your input matters. Is there something that drives you crazy about the current website? Something you'd like to see added (anything, I love a crazy project!) to the site? Or anything else! I want to hear it!
  8. Conditions are amazing today (reporting from the top of Switch)! Fireworks last year were absolutely awesome and I hear they are going to be even better this year!
  9. Made the Thursday nite change. We're working on the camera.
  10. Now that the new website has been up and running for a little while, I'm curious as to what you guys think. Any problems or irritating things you've found? New features you'd like to see? Any other comments? Thanks! -Danny

You're welcome! Working on speeding things up (so yeah, it's a known issue). And a general response to all: Thanks for the positive feedback on the new site. Glad to hear it! If you have any suggestions, please post them. Always looking to make improvements.

The webcam will only update when the page is refreshed. If you want the fully animated one, go to The Mountain/Webcam and click the image. Or you can go directly to http://webcam.snomtn.com:81

TheTerrain park page will be back once the park is built. Which pictures are you referring to that fill the screen when you click them?
  17. Saw a group of people booted last year for skiing with out passes. was not pretty!
  18. I was just looking at the website and wondering, if you could redesign the website, or at least change stuff on it...what would you do? Maybe if we throw some ideas out there Sno will make an effort to make some changes? -Danny
  19. For all of those who use twitter, Sno Mountain is now on Twitter!! twitter.com/SkiSnoMountain
  20. wow it actually got worse... I truly didn't think that it could. Sno! If you guys are listening, for the sake of your business, hire a real web designer. There are plenty of very skilled ones looking for work. and while i'm here i might as well point out some things you could fix... before i start, i am not trying to bash sno. ive been skiing montage/sno for quite a while now and really have no intention of going anywhere else. this is just a few of the key (in my opinion) points that make the website less than great. - there are 3 menu bars...in 3 different locations, that say 3 different things. pick one! - why does the sno mountain banner on the homepage link to wnep? - The font on the left menu bar looks ridiculous. it's ok on your logo but pick something clean and simple for something that important - make all the pages look the same. having the homepage look different from the sub-pages just looks bad and is confusing - provide useful content on the home page. how much are the season passes currently selling for? When does that rate expire? how can i purchase one? - conditions page: when was it last updated? (obviously it's not ski season but when it is...)post the last updated date. - and while we are on the conditions page, those pictures from fast track are now really old! perhaps they would be better off under the photo gallery - overall, simplify things. look at Elk's page for example. personally i feel that it could be better but it is very easy to find what I want. All the important things are right there for me to see in a simple category form. i find it embarrassing that elk has a better site than sno! there are some really awesome tools such as drupal that would allow for someone to create a really awesome sno mtn theme and then be able to very quickly and easily edit the content. and the software is FREE! I think that's all I have to say for now! -g15
  21. i almost want to offer to pay THEM to let me update/redesign their site...
  22. I heard that it was caused by a few people bouncing the chair really hard, to the point that it tripped one of the sensors that detects if the cable is still on it's sheave. It's my understanding that once a sensor trips, all of the towers need to be inspected before it can safely be started again, which is what took so long. I don't think the haul rope actually came off any of the sheaves, but I could be wrong.
  23. Deff go for the unlimited. It's never crowded there and the snow is great! But I agree, they need to shift the focus slightly away from building a massive halfpipe and making sure the whole mountain is decently covered.
  24. The ZipRider is absolutely amazing!!!!! SOOO COOL!!! I could ride it over and over all day long. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone. Rode it first during the day and then again at night, and then again the next day. All I have to say is that thing ROCKS!!
