  1. The spot and the superpipe are under construction and we plan to have them open for this coming weekend. the superpipe is roughly 500' long and we have a very nice jump line/slopestyle course coming as well. the snow is returning here today with 4-8" tonight and another 2-4" tomorrow. conditions are the best ive seen here in over a decade. get out here and get some! check out our website ride7springs.com for details on our upcoming events such as the packed, stacked and jacked event series, burton am series, homecoming, red bull one hit wonder, and more to come. Feel free to hit us up with any questions at terrainpark@7springs.com Jeremy 7springs terrain park supervisor
  2. so this is more your style then, right?
  3. well thanks for the comment. I am not in the video at all, so if you are trying to hurt my feelings you might want to try again.
  4. here you go,
  5. short little edit of the day. here
  6. Hey guys, its that time again! We have been having a lot of fun during our late season shred sessions, but it has to come to an end. we will be holding the third annual Mashed Potato Meltdown on saturday the 18th. this year we are featuring the Intergalactic quarterpipe championships. cost is 10 bucks and the format is FUN. there are lots of prizes from 7springs, willis, red bull, Rome, DC. to be given away. if any of you cam out last year you know how fun this event will be and this year will be every bit as good. hope a lot of you will make the journey to the west side of the state for some road gappin, quarterpipin, rail sliding, tabletop jumping good times and help us amp the stoke! 7. check out this short vid of our park crew member brandon stark from our march radness slopestyle event this past saturday. Jeremy
  8. yeah, i personally, and a few others on park crew spent way too many hours shaping and dialing in the set up. I ran strings and chain sawed all the cheese wedges and our tranny shovels got plenty of use. its really a shame that the lift is not running and the course is just sitting there not getting any use. well the sun is coming out so im going to go hike the pipe.
  9. sticking it out this week for daylight only. 10am to 6pm. just got finished hiking the pipe for hours. our pipe is in absolutely awesome condition. no lift service in the spot park which sucks since we have an incredible set up right now and its a really long hike to hit the triple line. cool i for sure must have seen you, silvia is a really cool girl and she f'ing kills it. the girls were really throwing down and partying hard at night. it was a good time for everyone. kaya turski went 7 to the right, 5 to the left, switch 9 for the win for skiers. it was an insane run and she was riding with a hurt shoulder.
  10. our mountain most years shoots to stay open through easter. I doubt it though this season since we had such an early start and the base is just not that deep. most likely the third weekend of march will end night skiing and we will ski daylight through the first weekend of april. we will however have a late season hiking park that will be open fri-sun pretty much as lon as we can stay open, late april or early may sometime.
  11. mid feb late feb enjoy. Jeremy
  12. third jump in the big line coming very soon. should be the best jump we have ever had at 7springs.
  13. our perspectives of "Poppy" must be different. but either way the jumps are fun. hope some more of you eastern PA people can take a trip out this way for the spring season.
  14. the jumps in our big park currently are 35ft and 45 ft. waiting on more snow so we can rebuild and have a third larger jump. the jumps are in no way super poppy. they are actually pretty mellow, they were a lot more poppy before they melted down and were groomed for a month. pipes are for sure holding up even with the bad weather we have been having. hope to see you guys out here sometime Jeremy 7spring terrain park supervisor.
  15. check out the event being held at 7springs this march 13-15. its going to be an amazing set up and an all around good time. Krisites homecoming event If you were thinking of coming to springs this season this would be a good time. and the course will be our slopestyle park for the remainder of the season for the public. hope some of you can make it! Jeremy
  16. here is a nice write up on seven springs from snowboard-revolution.com most was shot two weeks ago during opening weekend but some photos were from last seasons park. [url="http://crosland.snowboard-revolution.com/snow-skate/spot-check-
  17. salomon jib A is already a for sure event. what we are working on is exponentially greater, not even in the same league. for the 20th, it all depends on what mother nature allows for. We have a fun set up now and its only going to keep getting better with more snow and cold temps.
  18. we have something VERY big in the works for early march. not going to say until it is final but it will be pretty awesome. our new park is going to be a blast also. over half a mile in length and a really nice pitch for multiple jump and jib lines. hope some of you here can make it out!
  19. just want to let you guys know to check out ride7springs.com to see what is happening. the site just got up and running and will be updated on a very regular basis with current happenings and write ups on events, our team and crew and everything else related to the 7springs terrain parks. if you are in the 7springs area ill be glad to give you a private lesson on whatever freestyle skills you want to work on. I can teach pipe, jumps, and rails all equally well. i am a team rider for 7springs, work on the park crew at 7springs and work at windells in the summer. i helped out a few days with coaching this summer and may be a coach full time at windells next summer so you can rest assured i will be better than anyone you would get from your mountains ski school.
  21. no vt area had a better pipe than we did last year and that is a straight up fact. the only way you could argue that is if you had the opp to ride the US open pipe at stratton DURING the us open. it was crap afterwards and it was non existant before the event. im not saying that we have always had the best pipe in the east, but last year we did. this year should be amazing as long as we get the weather and I hope that some of you can come out to check it out for yourselves.
  22. check out 7springs new park site. click here? it will be updated with pics/vids and everything else soon and throughout the season.
  23. you can see pics of our pipe at 7springs on the park website here. check "the spot" section for pics park site? it was hands down the best pipe on the east coast last season. the park website just got up and running so there will be a lot added in the coming weeks.
  24. the 08 production ratchets are better.
  25. no, i do not work for rome.
