  1. the ratchet problem was adressed over a year ago and its no longer an issue for the 08 production models. the old ones did tend to jam a bit but by no means were they the worst buckles i have seen. but rest assured, the new ratchets are as good as anything on the market.
  2. "any means" is a sick film and so is "thanks brain".
  3. yeah i guess price is to consider. but windells has some very good skating at the camp which is open to use anytime you are not on hill. so keep that in mind if skating is a priority. it is considerably more expensive once you factor in airfare, but it is for sure worth it.
  4. hood and baker will be in good shape by that time. just another option to consider
  5. how much was the cost for that camp? was there anything besides what was on the vid? it seems you would get very sick of riding just that one ramp for a week. im sure you can learn some stuff there, but i dont see why people just dont go out to hood or whistler for a week and ride real snow.
  6. well i already have people bidding on it on ebay so im not going to end it early. it only takes a few mins to get an account and its free. feel free to jump on the bidding. jeremy.

  9. if no one offers higher by tomorrow, you have yourself a deal. you will also be responsible for shipping cost and paypal fee, that is unless you feel like picking it up in pittsburgh. id imagine shipping will be in the $15 range. and ill even throw a coat of wax on it for the buyer. choice of "all temp" or summer slush.
  10. im open to any reasonable offer on the ride crush.
  11. i have a an 08 ride crush 155 that was used for a bit at hood this summer. some scratches on the base and a small chip on the topsheet. slimewalls, true twin, blah blah blah. its in pretty good shape. 200 ill have a brand new 08 agent 154 to get rid of in a couple weeks. it will for sure be here well before the snow starts falling. id like 400 obo for it since they are 459 in stores and it is brand spanking new. ill keep posted on when i actually have it to sell.
  12. the 08 boot line is really good, and the 09 line is shaping up to be amazing. i personally ride the libertines and love them. the have a mid stiff flex out of the box and break in to be a little softer. the do everything well. the folsom is a little stiff for my liking straight out of the box, but they break into be just perfect after about 15-20 days. the hybrid base on the design is really fast in all snow conditions. not saying its as fast as properly tuned race skiis, but it is damn quick. the conformist toe strap has been around for over 3 years now, they did not steal it from ride. the stance option is an important factor to me, maybe not everone cares but i like to be able to get my stance to the exact position that i like. oh and as far as boards go, this years line rocks. the graft is amazing, the agent is better than ever, and the slash is great for guys with big feet that wish they could ride an agent. and for girls that like hitting rails, boxes, and just buttering around the mountain, the detail is the weapon of choice for sure.
  13. we will be having a end of the season rail jam on 4/14. open and am classes for both men and women. jam format 15 dollars to enter. registration from 9-11. jam starts at noon. should be a good time.
  14. thanks drew. hopefully things hold up for the 14th and we can have a fun set up.
  15. this week really put a hurtin on things. 70's and rain for seveal days can devistate conditions. the pipe is rideable, but the left wall is not so great. the right wall is still in great shape. there is a solid 2 foot difference in height between the left and right walls. id say about 11-12 average foot on the left and 13-15 foot on the right. they knocked down the first jump and redid the second one this past weekend. and i think they may redo it again. right now its about a 30-35ft step down with a 6-7ft high take off. i believe the park is going to get an overhaul for closing weekend. the mountain is closed for the next three days and they will open back up on the weekend. then they are closing for the season. the park should be open the following weekend, and then the weekend of the 14th there is a contest. after that, its going to depend on what mother nature deals us.
  16. for now we are open 9am - 10:30pm on friday and saturday only. and 9am - 7pm the rest of the week. after next weekend, the mountain will be closing, but the big park will be remaining open as long as we have snow to push around. the final plans on hours and cost of tickets for the late season park is still up in the air.
  17. come out for the late season park! rome snowboards is having a contest the weekend of 4/13. not sure on details just yet but ill keep it posted. snowboarders only ( sorry skiers).

    Tnutting my board?

wide stances (over 24" when you are under 6' tall) make no sense unless you are riding strictly street. even look at the pros who ride a lot of street and take a look at the stance they run when on the mountain. ive yet to see anyone riding 26"+ stances for cruising the park and just dicking around. drilling holes in a brand new board seems a little strange. you can get an extra inch by rotating your base plates to run parrallel to the holes in our board and max them out. but how about just trying to run the board at 23" and get used to it. obviously the engineers did not intend for it to be ridden wider than that or they would have gave more/wider stance options. if you must ride it wider than that, why not sell it and get something else before you make it worthless?
