    Snowboard Bindings

rome 390's or rome targa's are both very nice bindings. i have the 390's and they are such a huge step up from drake f60's that ive been riding for several years. i always liked drake but noticed by mid season my feet would be hurting worse and worse each day. the romes ergonomical upper strap and comfomist toe strap have eliminated that.
  3. thanks guys! im sure even if its "bad", it will be way better than anything around here.
  4. thanks for the welcome, but i have actually been on this board since the begining of last winter. i just dont post or visit too often since virtually nobody from the western part of the state is on here. maybe ill start a little more and maybe try to spread the word out my way. anyways, i already have a 4 day lift ticket to heavenly since it was part of the package deal we got. im thinking ill ride there for three of the days and ride one other resort for a day. ive always had this thing for squaw since i first saw TB7 North of heaven. but lately ive been hearing so much good stuff about kirkwood that i might head there instead. the weather so far in the tahoe area has been absolute crap ( stagnant high pressure with above norm temps and sunny for like the last two weeks straight) but im staying optomistic and hopefully they get a few nice dumps in december. anyways, i cant wait for this trip. ive been riding for 10 seasons and this is my first chance ive ever had to ride out west.
  5. so who has ridden or skiied at lake tahoe? im heading out there for the first time on jan. 2nd till the 7th. ill mainly be riding at heavenly and staying in south lake but id like to also hit up either squaw or kirkwood for a day. anyone got any opinions or general comments on any of the places mentioned?
  6. just an FYI, 7springs now is the proud owner of a 17' zauug super pipe dragon. its going to be sick! not only that but they also have purchased a bunch of new rails and made a third slope into a terrain park. there will also be a full time park crew to change it up and keep it in good shape throughout the season. ( ill be part of the park staff this year) they must have awakened to the fact that there really arent too many places with good parks in the mid atlantic and that having the best around could draw in some bigger events/contests that will also bring in big name companies who have money. i know most of you guys dont ride the western side of the state, but its going to be worth the trip out this season if you get the chance.
  7. hidden valley is about an hour to an hour and a half from pittsburgh depending on traffic and what part of the city you are located.
  8. just joined here and im a regular at 7springs. i ride almost always during the week since i have a midweek pass. i was there thursday and things are starting to look good. they had 4 rails in the little park ( nothing crazy, but fun to mess around on) and it looked like they had enough base to start digging out the pipe in the main park. see you at the park.
