To clarify, I'm bringin enough chow/beer for GSS and me, not a group spread.

I plan to park and go into the lodge to boot up and park my bag and stuff inside. I eat bfast before I leave the house and drink a big coffee on the way up. It's a nice offer!

I got new Hotronics, I got hoagies and chips, Moe's home made split pea with smoked ham, Longtrails, chocolate and soda, I'll be there by 8-8:30...... Underarmor, fleece, heavy Marker Orange and Black jacket, heavy duty bibs, full face coverage and helmet.....YEEEHAAAAAAAAA!!! It's winter again.

I'm only going if GSS goes, no way I'm paying weekend prices to slide down a mole hill at 0 degrees. And I need to know by tonite, cuz one of my heater battery packs is dead and I gotta hit Buckman's for new ones tomorrow if I go.

We stay at the Townhouse Lodge, no hot tub or breakfast, discount for WF lift passes, large, clean rooms w/ kitchenette, shuttle access, 30-40/pp per nite as of last year.

Took my wife and mom up to the KOP mall for lunch and some shopping and picked up a Marmot soft shell (red) for 50, an Avalanche soft shell (Greenish grey) for 20, and a Spyder ski jacket for 69. Definitely not top of the line stuff, but hey, 130$ for 3 jackets is hard to resist.

Cold temps will be a major factor and will prolly keep a few folks away going into the weekend.

My wife's bday is on the 27th. "Hey, Honey, I'm blowin off your birthday cuz I cancelled a skitrip cuz my buddy is a FU for not checking out the legalities of travelling to Canada, so we booked a trip to CO on yer bday to hook up with a PASR I met once and maybe a few more I never met but I'll send ya a postcard"...........Yeah, she'll love that.

I was psyched to go to somewhere new with real mountains, that'll still happen, plenty of Rockies south of the canadian border if we wanna tap that! The only thing that's bumming me out is the gaping hole in my ski itinerary.

Been there a few times but overnite only once. We stayed at Scribner Hollow, nice rooms, restaurant, indoor pool/sauna setup, near the mountain. They have a website.

A couple on the waiting list is replacing us at full price less airline ticket transfer for $70. Case closed. I bailed because I don't feel like paying the extra freight for a single room and we'll book something out west instead.
