Core's gettin it done. Skiin' fool, lol!!!!!!!!! Have a blast, the Vermonsters will be busy dollin up the slopes for the holidays so conditions will be primo unless we get shit tons of rain.
-
Kinda stoked we held off until next week to head for VT. Reports on AZ have not been good so far conditions wise for what is open today. Looks like there's some snow coming starting Tuesday nite. Poifect.........
-
Lotsa power outages are shutting down slopes. Lotsa crust and word is Jay is still getting snow.
-
Cool, dank and wet down here, still overcast like it wants to drop more rain.
-
This isn't average rain, it's advanced suckass rain. And this pattern seems to be stalling a bit, making things worse........

BREAKING NEWS FROM NOAA: THE WEATHER STILL BLOWS!!!!!!!!
-
Kmart is looking at 4-9" by tomorrow depending on type of precip.
-
The band?? We used to catch them at the North Star bar, "Old people in cars" was one of their tunes that I still remember.
-
Can't blame them for closing, I'm surprised they're even open today. This rain has to be especially hard on the park set ups if they're letting folks on them today.
-
I just got off the phone with Sugar Lodge and booked 3 nites for next Tuesday, earliest I can get away. Enjoy the fresh coming your way.
-
No gondola.

Have a safe trip, if you have internet access, a quick report on mountain conditions is always appreciated. We're heading up next week.
-
It'll be GSS's shortest midweek Blue TR ever. At least we'll get the Sheetz ghetto nachos and SFRB report.
-
Stopped raining in Philly a few hours ago.
-
I can't think of a single December in recent memory where we didn't have a December warm spell with rain.
-
Looks like we are opting for Sugarbush next Mon-Thurs. Got a room, 2 beds, b-fast and lift tix for 69/pp/day at Sugar Lodge. And this storm has an excellent chance to dump major snow up there this weekend. If that's the case, we might day trip to Jay as well for some glades. The fix is in..................

NEW TRAILS OPENING AT SNO THIS WEEKEND!!!

New trails????? I think you meant "more" trails. Hope to check out Sno in January. Prolly an overniter Elk/Sno combo when Elk does Demo day. -
Oh, and extra stoke for being able to post a weekday Blue TR before GSS, who was selling rocks to dead people while we pretty much owned the mountain with freshies.........
-
Stoke for the SP. And that forecast looks good for Friday.
-
Friday is full price day, they were keeping busy on Tut's and getting the 6 pack area ready. As is usually the case, Blue looks like it's right on the cusp to get either rain or snow Thurs/Fri. Tomorrow will be slip n slide in da rain. Thursday might actually be pretty decent if the rain doesn't beat the snot out of the snow.

Bumped into Toast, I think he was shredding in the park.

Back from Blue, got up there by 8:30, on the lift by 8:50, partly cloudy with fairly fast moving upper deck cloud cover but no wind on the hill, 29 degrees and rising. First run was down Main Street, didn't appear groomed due to the lack of cord, but snow was semidry packed with some loose man made parmisan and shavings. We noticed that the specialty being served up was about 3-4 inches of fresh untracked snow on Barney's and that pretty much clinched it for the day. Aside from a run down Lazy mile, which had been groomed, and 2 solo runs down raceway and 2 park runs for some micro air, we basically did a bump clinic on Barney's all day, which was a great workout. Popped into the bar for a hot choc and a Butterscotch schnapps with Jethro and the new cutie behind the bar for about 1/2 hour and headed back to Barney's. Weather warmed up into the upper 30's by 2PM when we called it a day. Humidity was rising as well, but not a drop of rain. Moe was bustin out a sweat, underarmor, turtleneck, softshell was alomst too much by noon. Stopped at Wawa's for gas, caffeine and a bag of kettlecooked Mesquite chips for the ride home.

Been up since 3:30AM, layed in bed until 5, if you see somebody sleeping on the Main Street lift, its prolly me.

Hope that is the case. BTW, you can zap out the 12-8-08 thread if its within your moderator power. It's a wasted click for the board.
