Fuckin swampiest summer in VT since 1988. I plan on doing some major grunt work and I get this. Fortunately, all the hard labor is done, framed out a wood shed and roofed it. All I need is a pizza oven and hot tub, and I'll never leave this house again.

Nice n chilly in the Notch tonite, mid to low fiddies. Cranked up a yoooge pit fire and burned some old kitchen cabinets and rotted deck wood. Stacked firewood in the garage. Got 2 more trailer loads to pick up tomorrow for the full cord. Summer is officially over AFAIAC. Might stay up here for 1st frost before heading back for a brief stint in flatland, PA.

Epic Pass and Smuggs season pass purchased. My goal is to make it to Telluride again this season. Place is pretty magical.

Hahaha! No, that was a nickname from the previous owner that stuck. Each dog has about a half dozen nicknames that are in continuous rotation.

We had a low of 36 up here at night last week. Weather has been great up here until today, and even today wasn't that bad.

I'm getting stoked for some mtn bike overlap with the remaining ski season. I dropped my LA fitness membership so I haven't been in a pool or lifting weights in umpteen months. I swam at Smuggs while I was up there and will resume that. I can swim in the retention pond at the bottom of our hill when it warms up. I still have wet suits from my surfing days, I might see if I can squeeze into them and swim while its still chilly. Yeah, right. I think my point, if there is one, is that I gained back about 10 lbs, 214 this AM. I realized that I overestimated my caloric burn rate skiing. I tend to eat and drink a lot more in VT than I do here. OK.

Seriously, WTF is up with everything about this band? I was youtubing and this one popped up on the side. I always thought some hot disco chick sang it. BWAHAHAHAHAAA!!! I can't believe people walked around in daylight looking like that.

You need a sturdy foundation for scraping.

You have to flush weed at least twice during it's growing cycle before harvesting. something I figured out over time to get a better and cleaner taste. I have 2 mother plants left from the 6 I was growing this winter. Other 4 were males. I'm going to clone them when I get up there next week so they'll be ready to go outside once it's warm enough. It's going to be awesome to have plants growing in the yard and on the deck legally.

I don't know what direction VT is taking. I'm looking into testing labs for a possible angle to make some coin. There's an opportunity in that space because quality control comes into play. I recently read that random sampling of weed showed that over 60% or more is contaminated with pesticides and other toxins.

Hippy Hill in SF is getting filled up fast for the big 420 smoke today. I bet you could stand a block away and get a contact high once they hit full blaze and wind direction.

Tram was closed on Monday, only ran lower mountain lifts in the AM. Yeah, snow pack is still great.

Snowing up there today, looks like Smuggs got a few inches, some flurries in the forecast for the next 48 hours. Jay is staying open until at least 5/1, so I'll get up there for another 1-2 lift served days. I've got Tear Drop on my radar for a skin, I'd like to actually ski some BC on Mansfield. It'll all come down to conditions when I get up there.

I might consider coming down for a day. I'm heading back up to VT next wed. for a 2-3 weeks.
