Never heard bindings squeak before. Never saw space between properly mounted binding and ski. That alone is a potential for moisture getting into the screw holes and/or vibrating loose over time. They may require a shim, or need to be remounted.

Woot!!! That was my playground!! I lived in Schlierbach on the side of the hill by the castle, lotsa cool kid memories from that time. Used to go exploring all over that castle, sledding down from the Konigstuhl thru the woods on frozen creeks. Albert Speer used to live there. Some of my fonder childhood memories are from that area.
