  1. So, I tried to jam my powder skis into my bag and they are too long. Anyone have a bag they want to lend/rent/sell that accomodate a fat 186 and a pair of 178 Prophets? I'm trying to avoid buying a new one since I rarely fly to ski anymore. That said, I'm going to Buckman's this week to see what they have in stock.
  2. Some of those shots kind of remind me of pix I've seen from Chile. Sounds like conditions are good. Continue slaying.
  3. The problem isn't outside food, the problem is hogging up half the seating area in the morning and holding it through the busy times like its a reserved all day for 8 people. It's pretty much a weekend/holiday problem.
  4. Dood, happy trails and post up the pix. Yer the only PASR that skies NM, most of us will never get there. Hope you get dumped on......in a good way
  5. Forecast going into next week makes me less sad...........
  6. I won't rub it in then on how WINNING today was. ....... Ah, fuck it, it was sublime. New snow, untracked early, sun came out around noon. Boots feel great, I wanted to stay out longer, but I'm putty. I'm literally sore from the neck to teh toes. Now the cleanup and laundry begins after I plow out the driveway. Gonna get everything done, including getting gear together for JH so I can play all day tomorrow. The sadness of departure will start seeping in tomorrow.
  7. Another 6" overnite, and still snowing lightly.
  8. Amazing afternoon with slopless Cochises. Felt like I had new skis and boots. New helmet and goggles feel great, good fit, no fog, put ear buds from my new phone in the helmet and that's working out. Met up with a few peeps and skied inbound trees. Nuthin but soft turns. Legs were good for 4 runs and I peaced out. Cheeba and Heady on deck!
  9. Morning sesh was all time again with DEEEEEEEEPness, FRESHness, and I got out for the opening bell for some untracked goodness. No lift lines, stayed in bounds, skied Robin's Run, Freefall, Dempsey's and lower part of M1 liftline. Finished with a TtB down Sterling lift line. Back for some lunch and doggy duty, gotta adjust bindings for the other boots and test them out this afternoon. JADIMFP with 72 virgins and a cherry on top!
  10. Me and 2 of the dogs. She's in Philly with Cody.
  11. 6 run morning, no lines, 3" overnite, Diablos felt like new boots with new liners, just started to snow about 1/2 hour ago. Was planning on heading back Saturday, then the wife gives me a green light to come home Sunday. I said ..............ok.
  12. Winter Storm Warning VTZ006-008-016>018-151100- /O.NEW.KBTV.WS.W.0002.170215T1200Z-170217T0000Z/ Lamoille-Washington-Eastern Franklin-Eastern Chittenden- Eastern Addison- Including the cities of Johnson, Stowe, Montpelier, Enosburg Falls, Richford, Underhill, Bristol, and Ripton 318 PM EST Tue Feb 14 2017 ...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM WEDNESDAY TO 7 PM EST THURSDAY... The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow...which is in effect from 7 AM Wednesday to 7 PM EST Thursday. * Locations...Western Slopes of Vermont. * Hazard Types...Snow. * Accumulations...6 to 12 inches of snow. * Maximum Snowfall Rate...up to 1 inch per hour...mainly Thursday evening through midnight. * Timing...Numerous snow showers and snow squalls will develop on Wednesday...and will transition into a light to moderate terrain focused snow on Wednesday Night into Thursday. Skied 4 runs at the open and headed over to Stowe for some boot work. Got new liners for the old Diablos and hopefully got the Cochise's dialed in with custom footbed, shims, etc. Both sets of boots feel way better in terms of snuggness and eliminating slop. Will test them out for the next few days. Then I bought a new helmet and goggles for Valentine's day.
  13. That's what I told myself today. I'd be cool with a slow 4 pack replacing M1.
  14. Off tthe hook this AM, but the Madonna kift started off loading everyother chair due to cable slippage caused by ice. Lift lines were nuts on both Sterling and M!. They didn't open M2 until 10:30. Bummed I couldn't get up for a dawn patrol before they opened. My buddy is a bit slow in the AM. I was plowing the driveway and he was supposed to crank out B-fast. Instead, he dorked around with some work bullshit on the computer. Next time, I'm out the door by 7. No friends on powder days. That said, conditions were amazing.
  15. 12" at the house, extra bacon required for laps in teh powderzzzzz..............gonna be deep.
  16. Went back out at 2 and skied till 4. Outstanding with refills, gonna be epic tomorrow!
  17. Same as above, a little warmer a little less crowded. Waitin for the snow to start and go out for an afternoon session. I had 8 double vodkas on the Rox last night, 2 small glasses of Gruitt, and I felt OK this morning. Aleve works.
  18. Yooge crowds, some boilerplate, some pow, some packed pow. Thomke's Express may have been the ROTD, lapped that several times. FIS was decent, some icy shit on the steeps. Peeps are skiing the woods, I've been sticking inbounds. Stoked if the next 5 days go off!
