Skied some laps and side country with TGR's Fussy Dutchman yesterday. Back of Sterling was Ok, but I called it one and done in the woods, it's sketchy depth wise. We went over to M1 and did 4 laps, beers in the lot with some locals and then home to pack and clean up the house for renters next weekend. Woke up this AM,went out for 3 runs before the wind holds kicked in. Came home to about 20 ft of a 40ft pine that snapped and was laying in my driveway. So, I got to use my new chain saw. Good thing I was already suited up in full rain gear. We're gonna stay another nite and ride out the storm in case something else falls or the power cuts out. Kinda happy to stay, I'm beat from vaping shatter hits and drinking last nite with some friends. Feeling crispy this morning. Wifey passed out, she usually drops a Benadryl before the long ride so she can sleep. Totally useless right now.

I like the Limbo lPA, had my first few last nite at the Village Tavern. They put an Elk burger on the menu which kix ass. I like elk and got the name and number of the farm that raises elk locally in Fairfax. Next time I come up I'm going to stock up on some elk meat.

They should blow snow on it and make it a booter

Thanks for the concern, skiing with a floater wasn't an issue. M1 lift spun today with t2b on chill coot. Chalky powdery goodness. No cookies. Poached a piece of the lift line just to feel the float. Skiing with some TGR peeps tomorrow.

Came home after skiing, sipping a Caucasian and watching The Americans when I noticed a small white spot moving around in my right eye. Just happened suddenly . Wife thinks it's a floater. Not the upper decker kind. It's better than fruitcake. I don't need to take her out, I get polished when I make waffles for breakfast. Take a lap.

Blue needs more cowbell. I'm rocking some Little River Band on vinyl.

It's a German Xmas pastry with marzipan in the middle. I bought 5 loaves at Big Lots. Wife says VT is OK, she can't ski, so she's locked in the house.

Leftovers. Wings, homemade baked beans and a piece of Stollen.

Been surfing NWS and saw a weather alert for northern PA. I got stoked until I read it. It was a windchill advisory. Bwaahahahahahaaaa!!! Seriously, at the end of the alert they recommend wearing hats and gloves!!!!!!

I saw skiers and boarders on Main Street today on the cam. Must be extra special season pass holders. Rumor is they opened this afternoon. Just trolling!

-1 at the mountain for 1st trax with about 5" of new powder and foot deep drifts. No wind, overcast. Skied the sterling lift line t2b as well as a few other trails that were open. No crowds or waiting in line = 7 morning laps. Might go out again after lunch. They were blowing on the base of Madonna, I expect to see that open in the next few days.

I don't think the heavier squalls have hit yet. Stoked to see what tomorrow morning looks like.

Stayed home until about 11 when the powder machine cranked back up. Did a few laps down Black Snake which opened today, then hiked up Madonna and skied boot deep pow. Lower half of mountain was crusty, but the drifts on the sides were great. Hit the hot tub and showers then made some killer wings washed down with Heady. FKNA great day. Temps are dropping and its squalling. Stoke market is headed higher.

No snow overnight, and the forecast has been downgraded. Supposed to get a few heavy squalls later today. 27 degrees, calm and overcast. Gonna make some eggs Benedict with leftover lobster and veg out this AM. Got another renter lined up for the 15th so we need to take down the Xmas tree and decorations and rearrange a few things before we head back to PA. I'll do some laps later.

Champlain powder is falling. Binge watching The Americans, pretty good show so far. 26 degrees here, got Chinese and Vietnamese takeout. Yummy!
