I can ski WROD at Smuggs 5 minutes away with my pass. No point driving 40 minutes for essentially the same thing.

This is the latest start for me ski wise. We were planning to head up to VT this past Monday, but keep pushing it out later based on weather. Supposed to get about 3" snow on saturday up there.

Occasionally, when I like to zone out in bed I watch Ch. 69.2, the Accuweather channel which plays holiday tunes, shows weather maps and is linked to webcams at Blue, Reading, Allentown and Easton. BC ran an ad for midweek ski n stay. I laughed.

I'm still wearing shorts, but wearing ragg wool socks with my birkies. This is the latest start for my ski season since I can't recall.

What's great about it is seeing lines that almost never get skied.

We stayed there sometime in the early 90's, the name of the place started with a Z as I recall. Restaurant had good food. My buddies pregnant wife tore the pool ladder out of its anchors as she was getting out of the pool.

Yeah, I thought about that, this provides for bigger shots for those that want one, and minimized spillage as the ski gets raised.

Tis the season, first holiday party on deck tonite. I made a shot ski for the hosts out of an old Olin SP22 ski that was being used as a gate post support in my yard in VT. Cleaned up ok, and had to tack down one of the edges. Stoked to use it tonite.

Already picked up my 360 pass the last time I was up, gives me access to the other amenities all year long. Hot tubbed with 3 teenage gals from Brooklyn the last time. I love to cook, and were blowing out the wall between the dining room and kitchen to open it up. Gonna be tits when done. I'm 220, fat boy, beat that.

I gotta put in a new kitchen in VT, so that's my gear cash. I bought a knit cap at Bar Bacon in NYC, so that kinda counts.

60% chance of some real snow next Tuesday, Looks like december will start out cold. Woot!! Could be an epic Pow day!! Amirite?

They got 3 days of McSnow blowing before the warm temps return, 3 days of above above freezing temps, chance of rain on Saturday and then the cold moves back in. No reason not to get some limited runs groomed by Friday or next week. I'm gearless down here anyway, but cheering for local weather to cooperate.

In my current conditioning, lift served side country is prolly all I'm doing. Seriously slacked off in the preseason workouts. But yeah, once she's obeying commands (she's a quick learner) I'll get her out for a tour.

Smuggs is opening Friday.
