Print media is dead. City Paper and Philadelphia Weekly merged into one thin rag with very little ads. Used to be a quarter inch thick and pages of ads. Even the asian car washes don't advertise in them anymore. I've got a 3 foot stack of old ones for kindling. Maybe I'll take em over to Pawn stars and get them appraised.

I'll be up there for a few weeks in mid october to the end, if it opens, I'll prolly go down and score october turns. Gonna hit Ullrfest at magic as well. Stoke market is slowly rising as is my rate of interest in the upcoming season of snowpocalypse.

I still have a 4s and had battery issues starting last winter. I put in a new battery and learned a few simple things for battery life. 1 thing is to turn the brightness down, the lower, the better. I have it set at about 2/3 of full brightness and its sufficient to see the screen. The other trick is to hit the dimple button 2 times and close out the open apps by sliding them upwards. It's made a huge difference in keeping the battery from draining quickly during the day. This prolly isn't news to the more tech capable.

I still have apps for Austria and Germany that have been alerting me about snow fall since late August.

I have to replace my Roku box in order to get HBO GO (streaming) which I get thru my deal with Comcast. Can I get that on your box?

I thru on a fleece vest to take the dog out this AM. Still in shorts, Tees and sandals until October or whenever I switch out the summer gear with the winter gear.

Damn, I think I'm getting one of those. I'd love to bail on the subscriptions. Gotta get one for each TV, right?
