That was a big part of the conversation last night around the glorious pit with charred meat treats. I have nothing planned this early, only a few ideas, including a possible trip to UT if I can arrange a trip dirtbag style, including a place to stay out there. $$$ is the other issue, but that's nothing new. We talked about a trip to Placid/Whiteface but it will really boil down to opportunity and conditions. I still plan to get up to VT for at least a week once a month, although hanging out in my house with a 4 year old and a 1 year old is making me think I'll take more frequent, but shorter trips to Smuggs. That said, Trips to Elf and Blue and.......wait fo it.....Montage? dare I say after blowing it off for umpteen years? I won't rule out a trip to WV if they get socked early season as they have the past few years. meat treats Cody cleaning off the grills.

I went on a mid day bender with some friends at Holt's cigar bar yesterday. The bathrooms are unisex, with about 6 stalls with floor to ceiling partitions and doors. I was about to walk in for my first visit after a few drinks and this cute petite asian waitron walks in in front of me. 1st time for everything, I guess. I have to believe a few of the ladies must have some misgivings about it. Not the ones sucking on a big brown cigar, the other ones, lulz. It was a nice blast from the past to sit at a bar and drink and smoke. Wife made me leave my clothes outside when I got home!

Here's a poop story for the past 12 hours. My 12 year old dog has major squirts. 2 crop dusters on the carpets last night. I started my morning off with her having difficulty getting up off the bed, her hind legs are weak. She overexerted herself and failed to get up so she blasted out a load on the bed. fortunately, the doovay (sp?) cover managed to prevent seepage to the down comforter. Had to take the whole fucking mess outside and hose off, then take it to the laundromat and use one of their big heavy duty machines. I ended up washing the down comforter as well for hygiene stoke, just in case there was molecular seepage I couldn't see. had to hose off her ass and dripped on back leg, and spot clean the carpet with the Bissle. That was my morning since 7AM. Oddly, I managed to make a breakfast smoothie and drink it. Wait, what was the thread topic again?

Just saw the ribs for the smoker, that's worthy of the charcoal. Weather looks like its going to hold up with a 50' high and partly cloudy.

I'm bringing that bag of charcoal (if Root can use it for smoking something other than sausage), 40 solo cups, one packet of some kind of sausage, 4 Heady toppers and a bag of hero snow from VT. I'm assuming the free lift ticket with a season pass deal is still in effect for Saturday.

What's he smoking......in the smoker? I have some hardwood oak coal for smokin I could bring. Could use your stuff for starter, then add mine. Root? Edit: It's an 8.8 lbs bag of Cowboy style hardwood lump coal. Just checked it to make sure its dry.

Headcount for cups? 30? 40?20? Shoprite makes their own sausage, I could pick up a dozen or so. Not gonna drive all the way up to Oxford to the german butcher.
